I really like this track. It's unique, playful, organic and musical. It shows that you have musical understanding that goes beyond Beatport techno, this track reminds me a little of Colin Stetson. I see potential for a great club/festival liveact. The biggest reserves lie in the mixing. The bottom end would benefit from more balls. Maybe take down the bass of that long bassline a little and raise the kicks to have more punch. I personally like to mix certain elements a little too loud in the mix to make people take notice. In this case I would mix the saxophone sound more in your face. But that's personal choice, I like mixes in your face. I can only encourage you to continue down this path and explore the live option from the beginning - there is a shortage of unique liveacts. Bravo!

In homage to the infamous post rave meet up that exists on the fringes Tisno’s famed festival site Forriner have produced an emotive summer house anthem for the ages. ‘Meet Me At Burgerellas’ is built on tear jerking strings, clever piano hooks and a chest thumping bass riff that all hangs together over super tight, punchy drums. Label stewards Clandestino pick up the house baton and run wild with it, initially going for a deeper vibe until letting rip with firing 909 drums and heady arps. Their slower ‘Sunrise’ take is a more contemplative affair, dropping the beats completely letting the strings breathe and soar while adding subtle fluttering keys and dawn break pianos. ‘The Cat & Dog Stairs’ is aching for open air dance-floors with its genial, atmospheric synths and melodic feel. A polished house track dripping with style. Longhair stick to the summery brief by turning out a shimmering mid-tempo house rework; it’s lush keys sparkling over an infectious bassline conjuring up images of the sun glinting off the sea.

In utter disbelief of years gone by at light-speed, we are overjoyed (and slightly shocked) to announce the 20th anniversary of Dial Records.
When Dial was founded in Hamburg around the turn of the Millenium we envisioned it as an experimental platform for a musical dialog among close friends - never would we have then thought it would last that long.
Today Dial is like an ongoing diary for us documenting all these years across over a hundred releases, all the countless collaborations with artists and new friends we have made along the way.
In 2020 we would like to take a further look into the future. After the release of Soela's album Genuine Silk (April 24th) and the upcoming XDB debut album in September, our jubilee compilation DIAL 2020 will be the frequent companion throughout the anniversary year. Our favorite artists will be presented on a series of releases- first in digital formats and finally as a very special vinyl edition.
With DIAL 2020 (II) (July 10th) we're thrilled to announce the stunning works of Christopher Ledger, Soela, Whodat, Yone-ko, Jacques Bon & Drux and Carsten Jost. Again we're blessed with outstanding productions by some of our favorite producers and a rare contribution of label founder Carsten Jost.
Throughout the entire year, we will be open for all kinds of media, documentaries, interviews and label stories. A publication documenting the visual endeavors of Dial Records will shine a light on that very crucial part of the label's history and will be released towards the fall of 2020.
