Sicka, who was given by his parents the birth name of Anthony Howard, hails from an up and coming city of about sixteen thousand residents named Beacon, in the state of New York.  Beacon, which is referred to by the local Hip Hop community as TCNY or "Tree City New York" is a community that is heavily influenced by the culture of Hip Hop and it roots.  It's location in Dutchess County (an hour drive to the Bronx bureau of New York, NY) in what is considered to be downstate/upstate New York (Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown areas) placed this young up and coming musician within a very unique suburban (yet heavily influenced by urban culture) community.  Surrounded by the influence of growing up in New York (the founding state of Hip Hop), as well as growing up alongside an older brother (Devon Howard aka Noetic Ezymoney) who raps, it seemed fitting that by the age of ten SickaSoundz discovered his gifts as an artist and began his musical. Realizing then that he not only had the gift to spit out phenomenal lyrics, but that he could also create his own vision even down to the production level of his music. Seems the gift of artistic talent was just sown into Sicka & his brother Noetic) dna from his grandmother “Lillie” Howard (Female Vocalist from classic group “Billie&Lillie”), to his father “Kid Nice” (Writer/Producer of HipHop Hits “Keep Dreaming” & “I Want You To Like It”), even his uncle Slim (Influential Producer/Writer/Arranger). With all this said now you know a little about The Man, The Artist, The Thinker SickaSoundz. He once said the aim for his life is just to influence the world with positivity until it’s all said and done.
