Viravax - Self-Reflection

This track was composed in Sekaiju with the Roland SC-D70. It started as a kind of groovy italo disco track with the pulsing bass, mostly as a test figuring out all of the CCs and effect sysexes for echo and reverb. It was all quite the learning experience, I had fun! 
When I came back to my initial sketch a few weeks later, I wasn't particularly happy with it as it felt a disjointed jumble of ideas. I decided to change the key manually from minor to major and it felt so much more inspiring, keeping some segments in minor made it flow so much better too. Overall I'm proud of what I did, check out the rest of the album here.
