Ovnimoon Records has eaten a magic mushroom and followed Necton the white rabbit down the Time Warp hole chasing a colourful wizard who seems to be late for his live set some-where in “Tomorrow Land”! Necton once more extends his fantastic flying carpet and given us a front row ride on his twisted and turning roller coaster through enchanted forests full of Secret Squirrels having progressive goa psytrance parties, past thick gooey swamp land inhabited by dense layers of living acid lines, and get Lost when you realize Ayana the (Bufo) Tree Frog was playing with your head the whole time! Experience a Glitch In the Matrix and end up dancing the funky mambo with Mama Africa. Turn Up The Heat because you will never return from your visit Down The Rabbit Hole! Patrik Olsén aka NECTON started his musical career as dj. He had his first weekly resident dj slot in 1991 playing vinyl’s. With a background in the house and techno scene he soon got into the trance scene doing his first dj sets in 1994. Necton was formed in 1997 together with Martin Staaf (Liquid Stranger) after they met in a large-scale commercial music-recording studio. In late 1999, “Spirit Zone Recordings” offered NECTON a contract with album releases, compilations, and EP´s to be released only on “Spirit Zone”. Since then NECTON has toured extensively all over the world, including countries like South Africa, Mexico, USA, Australia, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal to name a few. In 2005 Martin decided to pursue his “Liquid Stranger” project full time, and left NECTON, which has since been a solo project of Patrik Olsén. NECTON have recently released (2013/14) two EP´s, with a third EP on it´s way, two albums will be released this year as well, now this second part of the “big return to the spotlight” features a spectacular album with newly produced music following the stellar success of 2013’s  “Retrodelica” featuring top hits of the classic psychedelic progressive goa and tech trance generation, received amazing response. The music produced by NECTON nowadays is around 130-142 bpm, high energy and often-hypnotic progressive trance with a psychedelic touch. Barnt and Stephan Bodzin, two artists whose stand-out performances at recent Afterlife events have made them firm favourites with the crowds, are tapped for the remixes of Tale Of Us & Vaal's latest single 'Monument' (AL006). They both take on the title track, Barnt opting for a rolling, percussive direction and Bodzin more ethereal and transportive. For the digital-only third contribution, Adriatique (the Swiss duo of Adrian Schweizer and Adrian Shala) give the drums some extra punch and cloak the vocal in spacey reverb.

Music is love continue welcoming new friends to the label, on this occasion we find rising star Harrison BDP  with  firm favorite Liam Geddes providing a stella remix for the labels 17th vinyl release. 

Harrison albeit at the start of his career has already amassed some serious attention through his growing following,  choice releases , and his immersive production style and we are sure this EP will only strengthen his standing as a rock solid producer who can deliver stylistically time after time.

A1 opens with the impeccable  “I Still Meet You in my dreams from time to time“ a track where the listener can feel the emotional content Harrison is trying to convey and the reason you can hear this is down to the sheer quality of the production, huge swelling riffs balanced against the intricate minimal phrases will induce a huge wave of euphoria to any floor. A2. See’s MIL mainstay Liam Geddes back on remix duties taking “I Still Dream” where Liam loves to take it, deep and dubby. Liams take on groovy heavy sub bass interplay makes this a certified Liam Geddes banger .

B1. Washes away the dub of Liams remix with a delightfully energetic summer humdinger of a track. Showing the breadth of Harrison’s production prowess, this track is smothered in clever samples, funky bass lines and a perfect example of  what an original approach to production this boy has. B2. See’s Harrison close with his track “Time is of the essence” keeping things light and airy, this almost feels like the ying to Liams  A2 yang, instead of dark and brooding dub we have sunset music drifting away on its wings as it crescendos towards its end.

El material sonoro que se presenta en esta producción, es un copilado grabado directamente sobre terreno de algunas comunidades indígenas de Talamanca, en cooperación con mi labor de investigación como etnomusicólogo y antropólogo de la música. Muchas gracias al gran aporte de Jorge Luis Acevedo Vargas del Conservatorio de Música de la Universidad de Costa Rica por su gran inspiración y trabajo. Dichas compilaciones fueron grabadas con condiciones sumamente difíciles por los contextos geográficos y socioculturales de nuestros territorios indígenas. Por el cual le solicitamos el público interesado en valorar esta antología sonora, no desde una visión técnica sino pedagógica y amplia de nuestras manifestaciones musicales con nuestros pueblos originarios costarricenses.

40 years djing:
In 1985, Sangeet began his DJ career at Zorba The Buddha in Stuttgart. Around the same time, he moved to Berlin, where he started organising private parties. In 1987, he made his first visit to Goa.

Bringing back a wealth of music to Berlin, he became increasingly involved in organising parties and began his first collaborative music productions. From the early ’90s on, he was an integral part of festivals like VooV and Antaris Project, where he frequently worked as a stage manager while also performing his signature groovy and melodic sets, spreading joy on the dance floor.

In the early 2000s, his musical style evolved from Psytrance towards Progressive Trance, later transitioning into House and Techno. In 2016, he discovered a passion for Downtempo music, and by 2017, his first releases had dropped. Since then, Sangeet has been refining his love for a deep, trippy blend of house and downtempo sounds, consistently releasing new music.

He also held a ten-year residency at KitKatClub, performing there until 2020.
