After receiving a substantial and positive response, Demuir's "To Be A Star", which features the vocal sample of Phil Weeks, resonated with many DJs / Producers in our community.

One full year later, Demuir and Phil opened up the project and invited those looking for an opportunity to participate and drop their dopest interpretation of the track that explicitly calls out the image play over quality music in our industry.

"It was very difficult to curate this one between Phil and me because the submissions were crazy! A lot of people were hungry to get on. So instead of one prevailing mix, we ended up choosing 4 because of the range it presented and Phil jumped on with some beats as well to make it 5! However, we ended up with a nice package in the end from Phil's funky dub to Don Swing 3000's MAW inspired percussive beats to Mat Lunnen & Darren Marshall's proper Jackin vibes." - Demuir

Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two imprint continues to fly the flag for steadfast rolling and pumping house jams, with a sterling EP from James Burton, backed with a remix from one of the scene’s most decorated soldiers, Dennis Ferrer.  Already receiving great support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Skream, Patrick Topping , Jansons, and of course from Richy himself, who has been playing these tracks on heavy rotation this summer in Ibiza.

Burton has already released certified bangers on labels like Skream’s Of Unsound Mind and Kaluki Music, and its on his debut Four Thirty Two release that we are treated to a brace of tracks that straddle disco’s rich heritage with contemporary house music’s subby bass and tight, swinging beats.  Peak time business from this hotly tipped producer.

Dennis Ferrer really requires no introduction, but for the uninitiated, the DJ & producer from NYC has been behind a huge swathe of certified house classics since the mid 1990s, for labels like Ibadan, Defected, King Street, Strictly Rhythm, and of course, his own Objektivity label.  Ferrer chisels out a typically funky and raw remix that’s scattered with delirious vocal chops, sax tones and chugs of rhythmic guitar.

'Hailing from Talavera de la Reina, electronic music producer and DJ Miguel Lobo has spent his career crafting an inimitable sound packed full of percussive grooves. A purveyor of house music, he brings his multitude of influences together in his debut album ‘Moving Faces’ on Yousef’s seminal imprint ‘Circus Recordings’ with first EP ‘Stay Awake / Another Day’. 

Releasing music since 2009, Circus Recordings is one of the worlds most respected and consistent imprints, bringing together global icons of electronic music alongside new and emerging names. Marking a notable moment for the imprint, ‘Moving Faces’ LP will be the first album project released on Circus Recordings by an artist other than label head, Yousef. Miguel joins a list of top tier producers such as Carl Cox, Sven Väth, Marco Carola, Scuba, Green Velvet, and Steve Lawler who have also released on the imprint.

Making waves through the underground scene as an international touring DJ, the last few years have seen Miguel Lobo releasing on a number of respected and established labels including 8Bit, Defected and Knee Deep In Sound. Affirming his abilities as a producer, Miguel has seen strong support from DJs across the board from Hot Since 82, Marco Carola, Nick Curly, Nicole Moudaber, and Oxia. 

Not one to follow trends or conform to genre barriers, Miguel Lobo has created his own original style and sound. His investigative musical ideology sees him bring together many influences across ‘Moving Faces’ LP. 

“In the album I wanted to capture the different styles and moods with which I identify, sometimes experimental sometimes dark and moody and sometimes focused on the club. This is why I chose the name ‘Moving Faces’ for the LP as I share my multiple faces with the listener.” Miguel Lobo

Releasing first album EP ‘Stay Awake/Another Day’ kick starts the album journey. ‘Stay Awake’ conjures the nostalgia of watching DJ heroes play until the small hours of the morning, via moody basslines and infectious grooves blended with the smooth vocals of Rion S. Meanwhile, ‘Another Day’ presents Miguel’s melodic side with a euphoric mix, stitched together by the oozing groove that underpins the wider ‘Moving Face’ LP project.  

Made entirely with the self-taught production techniques of Miguel, ‘Stay Awake/Another Day’ EP provides a sure taster of what’s to come on the forthcoming LP; set to land as a multi-purpose project ‘Moving Faces’ feels fit for clubs, festivals or even the comfort of ones living room. '

Wyatt Marshall touches down on Sanity as he delivers the three-track ‘Exit Row’ this April. LA based Wyatt Marshall continues growing his reputation as one-to-watch artist due to great moves on well-known brands such as Gruuv, Desert Hearts or Dirtybird. 

Precisely, one of Wyatt’s highlights is linked to Dirtybird capo Claude Von Stroke and his ‘Who’s Afraid of Detroit’ remix which Drumcode boss Adam Beyer used to close his headlining set at Amnesia Ibiza.

Regarding to his Sanity debut EP, opener 'Exit Row’, is the best endorsement for Wyatt Marshall. Sci-fi backgrounds and syncopated hats set the rhythm of a great track that combines a nice and bouncy bassline with a squared FM lead playing a great call and response. This kind of production skills are well appreciated on ‘Upside Down’ which has a similar formula that plays an infectious bassline since the very first beats. Last but not least, ‘Pop & Ride’ closes the EP with another catchy groove where the distorted lead plays a main role creating a great momentum when it appears.

The cornerstone of the Martinez Brothers sets for the past year, actually making its debut at their fabric all nighter (we miss nights like those!), Acid Mondays bring together Ali Love, The Show and Wolfgang Haffner for this very special outing.

The track ‘accidentally’ emerged out of late night sessions at their studio in Ibiza. 'Everything' is a kinetic house tune with tripped out synths and darkly psychedelic vocals. It's one for illicit afterparties and freaky spaces. As well as a dub mix that focusses even more on the fantastic drums, The Martinez Brothers join the action with a superb stripped-back and techier remix that kicks like a mule.
