Hotly tipped UK duo Calum Percival and Jerome Withers join Hottrax with a sleek house release entitled ‘Kp It Tgthr’. 

Receiving early support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Detlef, Nathan Borato and Michael Bibi, the fast- rising pair started turning heads with their expertly crafted dancefloor edits of classics, such as their viral take on Madison Avenue’s ‘Don’t Call Me Baby’. Having sensed their potential Jamie Jones has now invited them to release on Hottrax, following a milestone year dropping music from East End Dubs, Cuartero, Monki, and Max Chapman. 

‘Kp It Tgthr’ opens with tight hi-hats, clean basslines, flirtatious brass stabs and pulsing chords until ‘Sip n Dip’ drives forward with rhythmic claps, distant vocals and swinging percussion. ‘Nerve’ closes with soft pads, bumping sub patterns and saturated voice clips providing a noir sound floor feel.

Wyatt Marshall touches down on Sanity as he delivers the three-track ‘Exit Row’ this April. LA based Wyatt Marshall continues growing his reputation as one-to-watch artist due to great moves on well-known brands such as Gruuv, Desert Hearts or Dirtybird. 

Precisely, one of Wyatt’s highlights is linked to Dirtybird capo Claude Von Stroke and his ‘Who’s Afraid of Detroit’ remix which Drumcode boss Adam Beyer used to close his headlining set at Amnesia Ibiza.

Regarding to his Sanity debut EP, opener 'Exit Row’, is the best endorsement for Wyatt Marshall. Sci-fi backgrounds and syncopated hats set the rhythm of a great track that combines a nice and bouncy bassline with a squared FM lead playing a great call and response. This kind of production skills are well appreciated on ‘Upside Down’ which has a similar formula that plays an infectious bassline since the very first beats. Last but not least, ‘Pop & Ride’ closes the EP with another catchy groove where the distorted lead plays a main role creating a great momentum when it appears.

Elleot - Funkin (Mehlor Remix) [Do Not Sleep]

Moan Recordings welcome the man of the moment Ray Mono for a new EP that features two more of his superbly slick house tracks, this time with a remix from the Moxy Musik label boss Darius Syrossian. Mono has been knocking it out of the park of late thanks to big tunes on the likes of Moxy Muzik and hedZup Records and he has a stripped back but full flavour sound that is perfect for heady crowds and sweaty basements. 

Opener What Would You Do is on well programmed drums that are funky and neat, underpinned by an infectious baseline and finished with some slinky synths and vocals that bring the groove. It is high class dancing music with plenty of flavour. 

Darius Syrossian then steps up to remix with a more intense remix that is rippled with late night chords and neon pads as well as a soulful vocal. As ever with this artist, the grooves are undeniable. 

The Get Down from Ray Mono then gets busy, with skipping beats and icy hi hats all making for an uplifting house cut that has warm, diffusing chords and plenty of sci-fi details that place it firmly in the future.
