welcome (back) to the interim.

this is unofficially titled "revision/01." it's a full remaster/update of the first "interim" project, primarily featuring an updated mix that i think better suits the project as a whole. it's been offline for years, and weirdly available only on apple music??? but it's finally back and sounds much more like an @gajoga project worthy of the @recreational-nostalgia label.

these songs were all made between 2015-16, with primary production happening in autumn 2016. the project kicked off a series of "interim" mixtape things that were supposed to be a stopgap between "days above" and my next record. in reality, because i01 originally had 8 songs, it was flagged as an album on all platforms, and i02 became a mix of several projects: a 2018 mixtape featuring some unreleased songs, a 2020 ep featuring some edits from that tape, and ultimately, the basis for "our time, together."

looking back, it was definitely a project that stemmed from a pretty depressive era in my life, and for some reason, i thought that i needed to put music out that maybe could express how i felt at the time. some songs were not my best work, and other songs felt too repetitive and needed more time in the oven. revision/01 looks to fix all that, but not as a deluxe edition, more as just an update. so this version has the same release date as the original, updated credits ("northside" was literally called "DADBOD4" in my DAW), and a version of "in bed, up late" that i just had to rework into something better.

because this originally was released in 2016, it predates @recreational-nostalgia by three years, and therefore isn't a numbered release.

A few days ago i was passing by school ( actually it's a school for visually impaired or 
can say for blind people) , i saw some children near the gate were playing hide 
and seek. It's so strange that even they cannot see, how they play it ?So I eagerly asked to a little girl playing around, 
what does it meant to them to play hide n seek? She replied  "All I am learning is 
another way of seeing what I didn’t see before". Then she took a book out of her school bag and start reading: "Two Truths of my Life: First one is, Joy does not come from outside, for whatever happens to us is within and The second truth is that light does not come from without. Light is in us, even if we have no eyes." After heard that sentence, i be silent for a few seconds and wonder how maturely she interact with me.That little girl taught me a very important thing that Maturity and wisdom does not come with the age but it comes with the facts and the situations you were passing through before. 

I proudly dedicate this song to all of them who take their disabilities in a brighter way.
