No mesmo ano de sua formação e do lançamento de seu primeiro EP, em 2010, a banda Kakarottos sentiu que ainda não estava preparada e resolveu dar um descanso aos seus quatro integrantes.

Em 2013 a banda retorna como um power trio depois que Paulo, Renan e Jonathan decidem que várias músicas estavam sendo desperdiçadas ficando no mais fundo portal negro de seus HDs e mentes. Além do mais, a saudade de tocar entre amigos e fãs acumulou-se durante os três anos, fazendo com que a vontade de voltar aos palcos fosse tão forte que poderiam passar por cima de qualquer inimigo para alcançar este objetivo.

Como não houve qualquer inimigo, o Kakarottos volta aos palcos em junho de 2013 e mostra que sua energia só está maior e precisa de muito punk rock para gastá-la. A partir deste reencontro, novas músicas surgiram e estão sendo preparadas para novas gravações..
