Sann Odea co-owner Kendu Bari presents his first-ever release with four captivating electronic tracks that keep you on the edge of your seat. It embodies the change and development the Amsterdam-based producer and performer experienced while he sought new sounds and ways of expression. The result is an interpretation of finding a new place, whether it’s in your mind or the outside world. 

The explorative and curious feeling he had during this development is heard in the music; his compositions defy categorization and are full of contrasts. Without residing in traditional instruments and song structures, Bari manages to resemble the complex emotions of the human experience in a cohesive fashion. He sculpts his sound by combining electronic club styles, mesmerizing synths, and slick sound design. 

Alee will lead to undiscovered and familiar places while maintaining space for the listeners’ imagination. Be prepared to go from total darkness to sheer ecstasy and everything in between. This will be a mesmerizing adventure that you won’t forget.

We are proud to present our next release, Lemma2! 

As a true lemma it both stands on its own and supports the larger theorem: to explore bass heavy music across a span of tempos and time signatures. Lemma2 goes deeper into the ideas presented in Lemma1, this time drawing inspiration from DnB, Dubstep, and Footwork. The result being a collection of sprawling 160BPM polyrhythmic rollers.

Side A ventures into sound design, mangling field recordings collected on travels far and beyond into almost unrecognizable shapes. Side B takes on a more percussive tip, driving for the dance floor with some stepping d&b-not-d&b business and footwork interpretations.

The opening release is an LP by Serwed – the debut collaborative project from @olegbuyanov and his Gost Zvuk label-mate @producedbyflaty.
