Ricky Ricardo grew up in Almelo, where as a teenager he first came into contact with what would later turn out to be his passion. As an MC at house parties in the 90s, young Ricky not only developed his sense of rhythm, it was the experience of a house party that had the most influence.

Ricky Ricardo groeide op in Almelo, waar hij als tiener voor het eerst in aanraking kwam met wat later zijn passie zou blijken te zijn. Als MC op houseparty's in de jaren 90 ontwikkelde de jonge Ricky niet alleen zijn gevoel voor ritme, het was de ervaring van een houseparty die de meeste invloed had.

Dear listener, thanks for visiting my site. You'll find some of my Demo Songs, some of them finished, some are work in progress. Some have been recorded about 30 years ago. I then stopped recording for about 3 decades beeing busy with my job and family.  I felt there was always something missing that’s why I started recording again in the winter of 23/24. growing up with the great musical influences of the '60s and 70's, and not taking myself to seriously I like to just call my music Beatle country blues. Stepped away from playing for almost 25 years while I raised a family, but was drawn back by learning about home recording, using the Boss BR 900 on my first songs. Highly recommend the Boss to start. Moved to studio one pro, which will give you endless ideas once you get comfortable. Lots to learn. Love the creative process of writing music with structure and lyrics that I think fit the mood. Not trying to impress, just send a musical message to who ever wants to listen. I can also be heard on

I like listening to music, making simple, tunes when I have time, and generally faffing about in an inefficient manner. Hopefully you might like something on offer here. 

I use a Hinkler Cigar Box guitar (about $30 from Aldi, great fun), a Flying V ukulele, a couple of old keyboards, other bits and bobs, and a Yamaha tenor saxophone.
