It's not often that an entire nation suddenly has its hands unshackled, its mouth ungagged and its cell door left ajar with an open invitation to leave the darkness and step into the light.

So, Syria, what's it to be?

Hold my hand up to the sun to reach this smouldered rubble

This was a Fun and Expressive project, this time with Guitarist (Rock based) and Singer from Italy, D (Davide)🎸

To join with him in the production of this track was a way to create Ideas and Visions together, and it's great to share them with You, so hope you enjoy listening!

It was good to put into Further writing what began for me as a piece of Poetry, and to extend this writing into what has become a wonderfully Crafted Song!

Revelations...I love all Scriptures tbh, and finding the Truths in these meets my Spiritual, with all the Goodness that really Can be found of religious Scriptures. I like to find the Facts in All scripture and Love and Respect those who were here Before us, our Ancestors!

Originally recorded as an acoustic song and released in my Acoustic Sky Sessions in August 22. 
This time again we invited the incredible vocals of Nat Daniels to do yet another vocal duet with me backed up by  Mike Fox on backing vocals. 
Mike as played & produced the track as on all of the This Sound Society material. When we are ready we will pick ten of the best and hopefully release an album. 
No rush as Rome wasn’t build in a day and we wasn’t on that job either. 
In the words of Mike :
What I really love about this is it's short and to the point !
We blast in , rock it up for 3 and a half minutes , and before
you know it we're gone , job done , thank you very much !
The idea is based on the male voice expressing his strengths & weaknesses and the female voice answering and how she deals with it and sees him through it.
Massive thanks to Mike for his hard work as always and super skills. Always inspiring, enthusiastic and a believer in the ideas. 
Nat for always being ready to oblige with that  fantastic vibe she brings to match her gorgeous vocals. An energy & voice that never fails to deliver.

Original poem Behind the track (Call your Shot! All great athletes do that and in my opinion so should good artists - it removes doubt from your process and when you believe in yourself all that becomes is a healthy pressure to achieve what you set out to make)
TBD ...make this the best bass song you've ever written... Bring in the collective and get them to do their bidding... Then take out the bass and give it to Josh to paint and learn more from the master!

This will honour what PJ Harvey said to not get attached to what you think is the best part of a song during the creative process... It's about the whole song when we look at the final results.. Not one bit ( although I've changed my mind here....So as to focus on making it a good song I'll keep the bass simple and removable to allow for that creative space for Josh )


For anyone who thinks this is a strange way to present and start something ... think of it in this light. There are whole corporations, YT tune channels, portals to all media that are built around spreading mis-information and hate & most unfortunately they exist because people latch onto that for reasons I can't fully explain... It's something to do with how tuned your brain is maybe... So recently I'm thinking Newtons 3rd law could possibly end up being true for behaviour too especially if intentional energy holds more influence then science.com currently projects!

So think of this as balance... There's nothing bad about it. It has no fear attached to it. It's just creative love that's all and it's also what we need to cancel out the fox's of this world
