TV channel ARTE animated the "Grandbrothers" for a special concert on 26 August 2022 on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the consecration of the Cologne Cathedral choir. Echoes in Distortion: a tribute to the sonic rebels forged in the crackling hum of amps and chaotic rhythms, this song aspires to channel the groundbreaking boldness of early Cabaret Voltaire, the relentless energy of Black Tish, and the brainsickness of The Butthole Surfers. Melodic but unruly, unraveling yet structured—it twists and bends, paying homage to the underground architects who aimed to reshape sound itself.

Echoes in Distortion

There is an orchard that grows where the soil remembers and the trees bloom with silence. The fruit there is darker than midnight and sweeter than sorrow, and once bitten, it teaches your mouth the language of forgetting.

The air here tastes of bruised plums and the voices of those not quite gone. Paths shift when unobserved. Roots whisper beneath the skin. Dreams take on the shape of birds.
