Until now, my music was almost completely ununderstood except for the SoundCloud community (I am very grateful to you). Why is that? I haven't even been able to face that question. However, this time, with the beginning of 2025, I will also change! I decided. I have to break out of my shell. I have to incorporate trends. I wrote this song while thinking of my great friend Jim Maack, who was also my brother-in-law.  He was suffering from an especially aggressive form of cancer at the time and he was heavy on my mind.  All I could think of was the spirit of this man.  I recently spoke at his service which was attended by hundreds of people he touched - standing room only.  I can't begin to explain how amazing this person was.  This song captures his spirit in a small way.  He was the kindest, most positive person I've ever known.

I must admit of late I haven’t been very productive and not so active on SC so I apologise if i have been vacant in listening to your new tunes.
I needed a hiatus for a while to clear the head get some renovations done around the house without having music to think about and distract me.
This tune was bubbling away a while ago and almost used  the lyrics for a Conscience Of Kings track but it didn’t work. I decided to persevere, wrote some cords and evolved it by just doing a little bit now and then.
Eventually I finished it and this is the final result. 
I’ve kept the original live vocal and acoustic guitar that was the guide because it catches the moment. Decided on no backing vocals and just to keep it solo and I don’t use auto tune either.
And added on top with electric and keys in the chorus. Put a house drum mix sound and I think it’s cool for a mini boss recording.
The songs about capturing that first moment of saying how you both feel about each other. I hope you like it comment & repost it .
