Se arrastró bajo los muros,
llorando.
Se filtró por las ranuras,
buscándome.
Y miró entre las fisuras,
deseando:
mucho claro, nada oscuro,
llamándome…
 
Mas el centinela mágico
de quijadas relucientes,
descarnado por los dientes
de mil y un gusanos cárnicos,
por la acción más degenérica
de venenos de odio y muerte,
este ser, cerebro inerte,
la detuvo, niña histérica…
 
Pero huyó,
vio sentada su promesa de llamarme.
Y escapó,
Vio prendido su deseo de amarme.
Sensación
de saber que era la presa, fuego y carne,
y en la intensa luz de vida vino a hallarme;
y me encontró.

calling me…

But the magic sentry
of shining jawbones,
eaten to the bone by the teeth
of thousand and one meat worms,
For the most degenerated action
of poisons of hatred and death,
this being, inert brain,
detained her, hysterical girl …

But she fled,
found assured her promise of calling me.
And she escaped,
found on fire her willing to love me.
Sensation
of knowing that she was the prey, fire and flesh,
and in the intense light of life she came to find me;
and she did.

in 2009 I moved into The Rat Palace, a studio in Hobart. Its been the epicentre of so many projects and I have shared the space with some amazing artists of all disciplines. I have hard drives full of jams from this time and will share a few over the next little while as a way of saying farewell to the space. This one is from August this year when myself ( Bass) and old band mates from an outfit called Hexfarm Dane Renshaw (Drums) and Phil Bywater ( Tenor Sax) found ourselves all in the same country for the first time in many years. So we dusted off some musical cobwebs one evening. The photo is of the last Ute load leaving the studio, Intonarumori strapped on the back - not quite sure where the next studio is yet !

NASA tells me: "Mercury retrograde is an optical illusion that occurs when the planet Mercury appears to move backwards in the night sky. In reality, the Earth briefly overtakes Mercury in its orbit, creating a visual effect."

Thanks NASA. That helps. 

But what about when two people think they're in one place but they're in another? And can sometimes a body, celestial or otherwise, look healthy but it's not? Let me know. Thx bro.
