In The Shadow Of A Gray Idol

An attempt at a pop tune, but can crossover to other genres. The songwriter in me had this love ballad tucked away, and seemed time to finish the tune. I've got some lyrics too. Kind of sappy but that's okay.

The main guitar carries the melody. Slow, simple, and gentle.

Dedicated to whom I've given my deepest love. And to those who need some extra love to counter hate or fear they might face.

The feeling I had when I was writing the music was what I get from a King's "You've Got a Friend" and Richie's "Endless Love" (I wish the song could compare!). 

Guitar synth, keyboard, and harp set to shakers with a heartbeat kick for a relaxed 58 bpm.

I wasn't very happy with my body, and I worked a lot... this photo has been very important over the years, and has always motivated me.. I took this photo 8 years ago, when I was in Bulgaria!! 15 kilos ago.. As for the song, I wrote it in a period in which I was having love troubles..
