Remembrances

Here is the continuation of the first piece "Resonances." The inspiration for "Resonances II" lies in an expressive search where contrasts of tempo, harmonies, and intensity of play dominate. This series pays tribute to the expressiveness of masters such as Rachmaninoff, as was the case for the first "Resonances," but also to film music. I hope you enjoy listening, and have a good Sunday everyone!

Voici la suite du premier morceau « Résonances ». L’inspiration de « Résonances II » réside dans une recherche expressive où dominent les contrastes de tempo, d’harmonies, et d’intensité de jeu. Cette série rend hommage à l’expressivité des maîtres tels que Rachmaninov, comme pour le premier « Résonances », mais aussi à la musique de film. En espérant que vous apprécierez votre écoute et bon dimanche à tous !

Résonances II

The world was still asleep in the quiet moments before dawn when a polite knock interrupted the silence. When she reached the door, the only sign of a visitor was the faint sound of a carriage disappearing into the distance. On the porch was a single, ornate invitation, its wax seal still intact. As she broke the seal and opened the envelope, she felt a sense of curiosity and mystery. What lay inside was not simply an invitation, but a message that might just change her life forever.

A composition inspired by the idea that a simple gift can have a lasting impact as others continue to pass it on. This theme of "passing it on" is represented in the track by the repetition of the main musical theme.
