In this story, Randy has been a licensed bell diver for 3 years & usually goes to a comfortable depth that was regulated on each of his missions.
However, one particular challenge arose, & Randy became stuck past 160 feet, since his line became severed from a sharp underwater cliff...
Does Randy make it back in time to be saved or drift off into a watery oblivion never to return? Can he find the strength to ascend before he tires out & falls to a lung crushing depth?

*What it does to the psyche to know trouble looms underwater where time without enough oxygen becomes an accelerated frantic feeling & a gut gnawing frightening event. 

*What's the longest you can hold your breath? Have you ever been able to improve the timing longevity?

The Sea Searcher

This is a song that has been one of my favorites for the last 25 years or so. It's a cover of a cover that Jerry Garcia (guitar, of course), Merle Saunders (keys), John Kahn (bass), and Bill Vitt (drums) recorded live at the Keystone in Berkley, CA, in 1973. It's actually a cover they did (I just found out a few years ago) of a song called Finders Keepers by the Chairmen of the Board, which is definitely worth checking out, too. This version is a more laid back, but it keeps the funk alive. 
  The guys who made this quarter century dream of mine come true are JJ Terrell, who plays the funky clavichord and dynamic organ throughout, Ken (K2 and the Three, and K2 and the Four)who's playing the tight, funky drums and great percussion, and Tez (Llanpsych), who's playing the ripping guitar lead at the end. Tez also mixed and produced this, expertly, as always. I'm on guitar, bass, and the synth lead at the beginning. Can't verbalize how much fun this was for me, and I hope all of us. We hope you enjoy it, too.

When my old friend Ken https://on.soundcloud.com/3rRoJ over to my studio, I had him create a basic track using my equipment. On the spot, I worked on adding several tracks to arrange it. It is our second collaboration on SoundCloud, with him being the guitarist like Dominic Miller of my band.

  This is a song that began as a drum track that Ken came up initially as a beat for another SoundCloud user, who respectfully declined it. Instead of letting a solid go to waste, Ken set it loose with JJ and Josh, who came up with an arrangement for the music over top of what they felt was a very killer beat. What was originally a jam, turned into a showcase of the entire Eclectic Collective. Josh also did some guitar work in this one, and with Stephen's brilliant harmony, came up with the opening theme that reoccurs about halfway through. His guitar can also be heard briefly right after the opening theme. Along with Stephen's other half of the theme, he is also responsible for the dynamic, climactic leads through most of it. Tez added his incendiary guitar to the final section, when all else was said and done, as a cherry on top. After all the tracks were in the digital can, we were lucky enough to have Stephen produce and mix it for us. 
  We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are looking forward to the winter holidays. We also hope you enjoy this ride as much as we enjoyed assembling
