An electronic musician from Helsinki, usually working on techno / house / nu disco / downtempo, both melodic and minimal.

Since 2009 I've done radio shows for Club Outolempi (finnish monthly stream). There's been a wide range of musical moods by means of punk, lounge, reggae, hippie rock, soundtracks, moog-era electronica etc. Not much of my techno side there.

Auteur compositeur interprète, Astoban nous raconte des histoires et des personnages haut en couleur, Arlette, le Bob, Léa, Jérémy, tout un univers édulcoré de douces mélodies, sur un air d'accordéon et de guitare jazzy. Alors sans plus attendre venez découvrir les fables d'Astoban sous des airs de chanson française nostalgique et tendre.  

Sans Provinces is French-Finnish duo Nathalie Aubret (vocals) and Jugi Kaartinen (piano). Their acoustic journeys follow the meanders of a cinematic piano & delicate voice. They move somewhere between minimal piano music, chanson française, and singer-songwriter vulnerability, drawing influences from the likes of Yann Tiersen, Clint Mansell, Antony & the Johnsons etc.

The duo formed in Helsinki in the autumn 2010. While quietly performing in the nooks and crannies of the city, Nathalie & Jugi are working on new material and getting ready to record their first batch of songs.

Started with ProTracker on the Amiga, nowadays mainly using FL Studio + VSTs.

Still active on the demoscene in the fabulous groups Focus Design (amiga) and Rebels (pc).
