Born In Johannesburg, Strada Stray is an innovative musician of the generation influenced by the likes of Eminem,50 Cent,Outkast & Kanye West. Strada wrote his first rhyme at the age of 11 in the form of a battle rap, it wasn't until he was 17 did he start writing and recording songs.

He's well known for his witty flows,smart punchlines & versatility which gained him the respect among the rappers and hip hop consumers in his city(Alberton) and abroad. In 2012 Strada released 'The Landing Strip 2' which received great praise among the hip hop community in his city.It included the popular singles "Cock Block" & "Keep It Real"


In the summer of 2016 Strada released his first ever music video for his smash hit "Okay Okay" which is currently sitting at over 500 views. Strada Stray's new project "A Friendly Reminder" was released November 2016 and has since been making waves locally and internationally which scored him an interview with one of UK's online Hip Hop magazines and a feature with North Carolina upcoming artist MB. "A Friendly Reminder" includes the hit single "Eyes Low"(Produced By Rookie Gold) which was featured on SlikourOnLife's Underdog Day. In the same month he released the visuals for "Like What They See" a gritty Trap anthem which featured Ice-olate & Fya Philly. the video has over 600 views.

Strada stray has performed on many different stages including the annual "Black Fest" and the monthly show "Friday Night Live"

Strada's goal is to inspire his generation & make music that people can relate to and enjoy.
