Snø is song that Jørn Åleskjær wrote for our project Sapphire & Steel, based on Norwegian bestselling novel Snø Vil Falle Over Snø Som Har Falt. He put the beautiful lyrics together with the help of novelist Levi Henriksen himself. We hope you like it as much as he does!

Snø is a song about melting on all levels, especially "defrosting" those whose heart was hardened by life’s misfortunes. It’s about stripping layers of protection and guise so we can learn how to breathe again.

Sapphire and Steel’s “Assigment I” EP is a retro pop project of Jørn Åleskjær and Estella Rosa, and the result of bouncing ideas back ’n forth between Norwegian woods and Dutch polders for the past 3 years.

The theme of their name and EP is inspired by the late 70s sci-fi series Sapphire & Steel, with Joanna Lumley and David McCallum.
