Just as the artist Yuzon discovered her identity through the process of creating this track, Avantika Bakshi, the author of this remix, has attempted to give the original track her own spin, shaving away the pop element and focusing on a heftier set of percussion, synth and a tougher bass-line -- aiming to highlight the female vocals and lyrics that gives the track its core character. 

A full moon signifies the auspicious, a culmination of a celestial cycle. The amalgamation of a deep melody with lyrics, relatable to life, gives it a natural vibe. The direct comparison of the lunar cycle of the moon to the youth of life which starts off by saying "breathe in", signifies the birth of life, then progressing and adapting a deeper persona while highlighting an irony with an array of dreamy vocal notes. The fusion of these elements leads into a track which develops a progressive sound and leaves the listener with a sense of having completed a full cycle themselves -- from the dark to the light. A strikingly smooth and sensual voice supported by an organic sounding bass-line, deep house beats and simple yet absorbing progressions. 

Avantika describes the remix as a smooth ride out of her comfort zone and into the unknown, which she declares an invitation to start tearing up the dance floor, if, like her, you're in search of adventure, or like a cool summer cocktail, you're ready to get high enough and dance your cares away.

Sure to be a pinned favorite on playlists for deep house lovers, both the energy and intention of Avantika's tunage is contagious.

Raunaq Sandhu aka Mr Sandhu is a Mumbai based producer who has been producing electronic music for the past 4 years. His latest release, Sadi is inspired by his memories of listening of Punjabi music when young and the elation he felt then. The track aims to fuse the Deep Tech / Deep House sound with the same. Although his signature sound, somewhere between deep house from the likes of, Anjunadeep, Lost and Found, Juicebox music and techno/deep music from labels like Afterlife, Keinemusik and Steyoyoke, has been compositions usually painted with moody atmospheres and focusing on percussive elements and subtle melodies. "Sadi" is a break from this as though breaking the surface from the state of being submerged underwater, which best represents, visually his previous releases. In his musical journey Raunak, in his childhood had trained in the dhol and guitar and the knowledge of these intricate grooves and melodies is something he is inspired by and tries to incorporate in his electronic productions.
