all they think they’ll need wherever they go 	

(**This song is about all the stuff I wanted as a child of the 80s and never got…..like a video recorder, soda stream, mr frosty and a newer car than our tiny family Mini. Not realising at the time of course that I already had everything I needed 😄)

This song is about deep ancestral memory.  The hum of humanity before history was written. 

It channels the lost world of Doggerland and the Happisburgh footprints, imagining our Mesolithic ancestors as ghostly teachers who left no tombs, no kings, no creeds. Just tools, fire, rhythm, and a way of moving through the world.

It’s about the continuity between them and you: how their songs are still inside, deep within your marrow. 
How their dances are in your instincts, how the landscape itself remembers them. 

At its core, this is a love letter to the unnamed, unremembered people who taught humanity how to be.

The cliffs forgot their edges,
But we still walk sideways.

Hollow bone, red flint grin,
We drew suns on mammoth skin.
Laughed in fog, named no stars,

Crabs read our future in salted bloods.

Lion sleep in fox-hole grin,
Happisburgh held the ache within.
