I was playing with a band that wanted to do some old funk tunes but I wasn't in love with the songs they chose so I wrote a funk song myself. 

It wasn't a genre that I was familiar with but I had a lot of fun with it. 

The basic structure is pretty simple but getting on the beat has taken a whole year of practice. You don't think about funk - you feel it. It's a gas when you get into it.

Sarajevo ‘84  are a Spanish rock band formed in Granada in 2014. The group's musical style primarily consists of rock with an emphasis on grunge, as well as elements from other genres such as stoner or power-pop. Currently, the band consists of Andrés Martínez (vocals & guitar), Óscar Romera (Lead guitar), Miguel Ángel García (drummer)  and Débora G. Izquierdo - PenélopeLaMala (bass).

Sarajevo ‘84 es un grupo de música granadino de rock alternativo que canta en inglés, con influencias musicales que podrían incluir entre otras el rock de los ‘90, el stoner, el garage o el power-pop. 
Sus integrantes son Miguel Ángel García (Batería), Débora G. Izquierdo - PenélopeLaMala (Bajista), Óscar Romera (Guitarra principal) y Andrés Martínez (Voz y guitarra rítmica).
