The Caldwell is an American Rock band from Houston, Texas. The band formed in 2013 after frontman James Essary wrote the bands first album, Modern Love. 

Electrifying is one of the many words that describe Caldwell.
Growing up in Townsville Australia, Ashley started DJing in his late teens, plying his trade in some of the biggest nightclubs that North Queensland has to offer. 

After conquering Queensland, Caldwell moved to the big city to sharpen his skills and play at bigger venues. In the brief time that he lived in Melbourne, he was flown to Fiji twice for international gigs along with a number of nightclub gigs in Melbourne & Surrounding Suburbs.
Versatility is another area where Caldwell excels, from Nightclubs to Festivals he has done it all by the age of 23!

All of these accomplishments aside however, Caldwell is all about crowd satisfaction, DJing to him is ensuring that every individual has an ELECTRIFYING time at a venue. His performances are infused with a wicked blend of musical styles, professional prowess, scintillating beats and that cheeky, energetic charm that you aren't going to forget anytime soon!

The bi-polar band hailing from east nashville. Orignally started by Caldwell as a joke name when he needed a band name to upload some basement recordings. He soon found Erin Mobley in a coffee shop when he walked into a crowded room and shoted "Anyone here play bass?" She replied "No, but I'll learn." 
 It later morphed into a bonafide band with bonafide recordings back by a label. Their first release "Looking down at cloud nine" was called so-so by people and caldwell called in Andy Snyder on drums and Dave Dawson on guitar for the next album. It was almost  due to Caldwell taking an Suv to the chest and laying in bed for months for the BGC to relax also. But when they hit the studio "Wonderkids" was the sound they were looking for and local press hailed it!. Recorded in studio live with just basic overdubs the e.p. sold out in months.
Their next project was a whopper. A 17 song catalogue of everything they had left in them. With babies on the way and no chance of touring Caldwell made the worst decision of his life....terminate the band. So they had a cd release/Last show all in one. 
caldwell is curenntly demo'ing songs for his next project The Begats or https://soundcloud.com/theruraljurors  and trying to round up the rest of the Bubblegum Complex to play some more shows!
