Kidnap is an artist whose music overflows with emotion - rich and powerfully evocative.

Recording in London, Kidnap (real name Matthew Relton) likens his process to that of a sculptor, starting with a block of sound and chopping away until a shape emerges. As such, each song exists ornately carved with a handcrafted subtly.

Still just 33, Relton is already something of an industry veteran. Releasing his first single in 2012 kicked off an eight-year stretch of global touring that came to a grinding halt when the pandemic put the world on pause.

2024 marks a new chapter for Kidnap, with his next body of work on the horizon. Set against the backdrop of a changing world and the arrival of a baby daughter, Relton offers a bittersweet reflection on the passing of time. ‘It’s about looking back on the last 12 years — the touring and the friends and the sleeplessness,” says Relton, “and realising that in order to embrace the life I have now, I need to let it all go.’ The music shimmers with nostalgia. Signature sad melodies dance deftly around commanding synth lines, altogether sounding like an artist with a new found sense of purpose.

T.A.N. was originated by Justin MaSS & a Former close friend in the mid 2000's but has been part of their souls since day one. It started with a different meaning, and changed meanings throughout the years, but finally landed home with the CATCHY & ORIGINAL T.alented A.nd N.atural thought of by member D.C. . Each member comes with a HEAVY past & hard background, that has given them the drive and desire to let out what they have caged in their hearts and minds. They ALL come with different & enlightened perspectives of life that once you hear, you'll NEVER get enough. They only spit that REAL Talk, REAL Life that most of us can relate with & understand. Whether it's going to the club every weekend , working a 9-5, living in the hood struggling for that next dollar, a BOSS, a parent, going through addiction, or just love to hear GREAT music, T.A.N. will have something for you ALL to nod your head to or rewind back to listen again.
Justin MaSS brings skills that vary from music/film/& photography as he is an Institute Of Audio Research Graduate. Started As An Artist at Age 16, he spit his first two verses which gave him the inspiration and hope that this *hip-hop thing* can actually become a reality. At 18/19 he put together his first mixtape/album "Blood, Sweat, & Tears". After going back to the drawing board he has taken years and years learning the business side of music and realizing how to really put a successful project together. Spillz A.K.A. M WeeZy is a New York City native & has been rocking with T.A.N. for the last few years. He brings Aggression mixed with raw talent and lyrics that will hit deep in your soul. Like all members Spillz delivers versatility. His specialty is being able to speed up and take you with him then slow it down without warning and have you following him on his journey. Potent rhymes mixed with vibrant instrumentals creates this Long Island, NY lyricist SPILLZ!
D.C. is also a New York City Native Repping Long Island, N.Y. He brings punch and dynamics with that east coast grit that the North's been missing. He has been rocking with T.A.N. for a while now and has been known to put together an instrumental or 2. (BEAT BaK) He brings a heavy dosage of REAL to the microphone as he says, "If It Ain't Real, It AIn't Right!" His specialty is attacking the mind with complex 16's while making you step back and think. D.C. Is What N.Y.C. has been waiting for.
Sweet Tea brings a smooth, Sexy tone with looks that are irresistible to the eye. Coming from the Lower East Side of Manhattan has given her the attitude, confidence, and skills to develop as a diva in this game. Her specialty is bringing the mind to a relaxed comfortable state, with cool relaxing hooks and tracks that will have you pressing play again and again. She has been known to also model and rap, & has been featured in a music video. With talent and looks that please the eye and ear it really does not matter if you like your tea hot or cold, you're gonna want it Sweet.
B. Good (FREE Brandon Good!) was born out of N.Y.U. Medical Center in Manhattan but has lived his whole life out of New Jersey. Bringing talents such as drawing, painting, beat making, sports, and his last endeavor Tattoos, B. Good has the ability to takeover the industry. Distractions have led Good down a path of mistakes, but as they say "What dosen't kill you makes you stronger" and that is 200% the case in this situation. His specialty is the ability to take a drum pattern and make a straight classic from producing it, to writing it, to rhyming it, to singing it. Then adding a tattoo on your arm about it. There is not much this man can't do & upon his return there will be much more to hear from this Superstar in the making.
