RNS & I started "Seraph" in early 2019, we decided to change the name to "Saraphim" once we learnt there was already an artist named "Seraph" in Dubstep.

We're currently focusing on producing 140 with a Middle Eastern and Grimey flavour, layered with lighter melody.

Essex based duo Saraphim is RNS and RDubz two producer DJ’s who generally work around the 140 spectrum, mixing in ethnical influences into their music. They can also be found making any style of music that comes to mind in a studio session under the duo name of RNS & Rdubz for their more experimental work.
Graduating through Education & Bass, RNS & RDubz have been going under the "Saraphim" alias for 2 years, this release follows a single release on
Education & Bass, a 4 track EP release with Locus Sound, a track on Sentry Records’ Syndicate Pt 2 compilation, a remix for Dread or Dead Records, 2
releases with Japanese based Vomitspit and also most recently appeared on a compilation for the previously mentioned Locus Sound.
When it comes to dj mixes they like to keep the energy up with system music but melody is a mainstay in the direction that they go so you can expect weighty sections amongst more musical vibes, ethnic and grimey twists too, that pretty much encompasses what 140 is about for them.

From slick minimal pieces to full bodied sub-shaking weapons, it's been fascinating to witness the growth of 7Kidz's sound over recent years. The Belgian producer kicks off his year with a release on the equally impressive and underrated Too Much Collective. Following a heavyweight project from Jamzigg in November and a track from n/less, the label continues to give a platform to those looking to rise the ranks of the genre and 7Kidz grabs the bull by the horns with this one by producing a killer no skips EP. However out of the four tracks on TMC012, 'Dirty Job' particularly hits the spot for me, which is why I have the pleasure of presenting it in full today!

Infernal Sounds is kicking 2023 off proper with a 17 track LP, titled 'Future Forms'. This album is jam packed spanning flavours from dark to light. Filled with an impressive lineup of artists this release is bound to be on repeat.
We were lucky enough here at Cimmerian to get to pick not only one track for premiere, but two! With such a massive release it was nearly impossible to chose which tracks to premiere, we would have helped premiere the whole thing!

What better way to kick off our 10th year as an imprint than have the two troublemakers behind it all, Tik&Borrow, release their first EP in 18 months on the label.

This one sees the duo harnessing a techy sound palette in their production, from the interwoven drums of lead track 'Sable' to the subtle key progressions in the outro of title track 'Revolution', the pair have clearly been enjoying the process of bringing other musical elements into these tracks without sacrificing what makes them, well them. This is on show the most with the third original track 'Avril', which sees the duo step far outside of their usual sound, utilising sparse soundscapes and techno rhythms alongside 808 thumps and breakbeats, to create something truly unique but in keeping with the vibe throughout the EP.

On remix duty we are delighted to welcome our brothers Saraphim to the label to give their twist on lead track 'Sable', and boy, are you in for a treat. They take the original and add a bit of spice as only they can, turning it into a wubby roller that is the perfect closer for our first EP of the year.
