Sara Pignatelli is a Portuguese visual and music artist, based in Ericeira.

With classical music education, she studied piano for 10 years. In 2003 Sara became a psy-trance and, around 2009, her electronic music taste started shifting for calmer and more ethnic beats.

Nowadays, Sara's sets are known for her sweet, feminine and melodic selections. She makes a difference by building up distinctive sound journeys that range from natural and acoustic details to deep electric synthesizers. 

Sara's creativity is deeply rooted in her intimate connection with the Natural world, having dedicated the last  decade to studying master plants, which became the main source of guidance in her creations. 

Currently, she is crafting her debut music album, using Ableton Live and intending to weave her voice and message through digital compositions. Hopefully to be released in 2024.

The current situation in Israel is serious.
DEAD serious.
In fact, it's gotten SO serious - that I simply HAVE to make fun of it!
As for me, I prefer doing it through music.

Cuz life is serious. 
So why not make it less so?

The Intention for this Breathwork Journey is to share with you a reminder to 'Stay Humble', a powerful lesson I was taught by life many times. On the path of putting myself out there, progressing forward through my personal growing and healing journey, successfully stepping into my true self and power, I notice a lot of opportunities in which it's easy for the true way to become blurred. Times in which I tend to ignore the guidance from spirit and signs in my surroundings. Times in which I don't trust my intuition and the voice of my heart. Opportunities for my Ego trying to take the lead and fall back into outdated believes, fear and scarcity mindset. 

Inevitably though, I'm ONLY Human and like any other I will never be able to rid myself of my Ego. The Ego is our friend, the part of us that helps us to survive. What we can do is to observe it with discernment and make conscious choices to control it instead of it controlling us. 

When the Ego is triggered the breath is the pathway to ground into safety and in the same time connect us to the higher aspects of ourself. A steady flow of the breath through the body brings us into alignment with the truth in our heart and the confidence to trust in moments when life pulls on us, feel unsafe or "logically/intellectually' things don't sense. 

Staying Humble to me means to be fully embodied (HUMan)and bow to the higher forces (Universe, Mother Earth and her Elements, Life itself) that will support me if I honor the messages, signs and synchronicities. The moment I don't, life will challenge me and sometimes literally "humiliate me" in order to bring me back to my humility. Yes, we are creator beings, yet never forget we are only servants of the divine for the higher good of all. Stay Humble, while being the highest version of yourself!!!

Sit with this thought and have a beautiful Journey!!! <3

STAY HUMBLE * Breathwork Journey

This set ends with an improvisation by Bobby McFerrin (author of the song we all sing, "Don't Worry, Be Happy") at Veltins-Arena.  I recently found out that Bobby McFerry spent 2 years not listening to any music, in search of his unique musical expression... 

Throughout my life, my mom told me occasionally that whoever predicts the future is condemned to be unhappy, because he will live most of his life misunderstood...

It's impressive the number of retreat centers and self-development projects being born in Portugal...

A quite conservative uncle of mine one day asked me "how is it possible for an experience "like that" to expand our horizons?"... I kept thinking about the importance of this question for several months...

Any event that reformulates the perspective we have of ourselves and our environment is, certainly, making us evolve... Whether it's a retreat, a book, a psychedelic experience, months/years of therapy or a trip... The new wisdom we absorb reverts into assets for the rest of our lives and, inevitably, everything changes... the way we think, how we speak, how we relate with our body, our work, our money, how we present ourselves and interact with others and with the planet... All of this helping us to better understand who we are and what we truly like...

This era has been dominated by imbalance and dissatisfaction, so having the courage to question where we come from and where we are heading is not only convenient - it's mandatory!

We can't continue educating future generations to follow our examples, maintaining them obedient and contained... we have to motivate them to understand nature, to explore their personal gifts and the unknown, to decipher their feelings, to allow them to raise questions, challenge paradigms and dissolve stigmas...

The way is forward!  We all signed a contract at birth, in which we committed to be ourselves, to evolve and grow, to learn, challenge and discover more and more about who we are, every single day...
