The Brighter Than a Thousand Suns album is criminally underrated in Killing Joke's back catalogue, there's some masterpieces on there. This is my vocal tribute to one of them.

Twilight of the Mortal (Killing Joke Cover)

Four months in to learning guqin, and I sort of know a full song - and it's the song that first inspired me to begin learning guqin. Lots of work to go, but... getting there. I'm alternating between this, Yangguan Pass, and Guanshan Yue as my first three pieces I'm learning. A few little mistakes here and there, which I'm sure will straighten out the more I get used to it and stop muting the strings by accident. But it's all about the slow progress.

Playing this one in particular always makes me feel so tranquil, if a little melancholy. Suppose that's the idea of the song, considering who it's about.

Wolong Yin (Theme of Zhuge Liang - Guqin Practice)

Kamen Rider 1971 (and the amazing Hiroshi Fujioka as Takeshi Hongo) always remains the best in my heart, so I had to do a little tribute to it. This is so fun and uplifting to sing. 😊

Let's Go!! Rider Kick - レッツゴー!! ライダーキック (Kamen Rider OP Theme Cover)

As much as the original 1971 series is my favourite, Kamen Rider BLACK is definitely a contender. The soundtrack is so good, and I feel like Kamen Rider doesn't nearly get enough love in the West as it should, especially the original Showa era seasons. The opening was originally sung by Tetsuo Kurata who played Kotaro Minami, the main character. Once again just like in the original, I find it so charming when the opening to a show is sung by the hero, it makes it all the more exciting. 曲をお楽しみください！
