The album is full of facets ranging from Post Punk to Industrial / Ebm with only an almost entirely Metal intro .. it is a dystopic of sounds that recall the 90s, worked with modern ideas. The album .. the fifth of Nghtly .. It tells us a little about today's society, how he sees it and what he suffers from.

“Dysfunctionalism” marks Survival Paradox’s debut 12” release in the form of a cerebral deep dive into relentless confined aggression. The nearly 40 minute vinyl + bonus digital tracks crawl under the listener’s skin with its deceptively simple hypnotic rhythms. This carefully crafted LP unveils its complexities by spreading into every cell of the timbres and sequences within, fusing elements ranging from minimal techno, old-school Goa Trance and late 80’s/early 90’s EBM. “Dysfunctionalism” can best be described as a kind of Hypnotic Body Music. Day 11 brings another look into the world of DISCO19, my melodic progressive alias that lets me explore sounds far outside the usual techno trance boundaries.

This track was created in the same creative burst as “Hello / Goodbye” back in 2023, a time when I was deep into writing what was supposed to become the my second artist album, envisioned for 2024. Life, touring, deadlines, and everything in between got in the way, and the album never reached its final shape. But the music from that period still feels emotional and special.

Thank you for supporting all projects. DISCO19 will return in full force when the time is righ but for today, enjoy this glimpse into what could’ve been.
