>>Sarruma<< is the project of Demetris Chr. born in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Demetris since he was a child had a great passion for music and he learned to play the guitar from a very young age. He was always fascinated by nature and the uknown as well as everything that has to do with existence. His passion for music let him to experiment with different kinds of rock and metal , until he fell in love with Psychedelic trance music that changed his musical direction. He started djing around 2014 and learn more about music production that gave birth to his project Sarruma. He has done various releases with great labels such as Insomnia records ,Sonica recs., Bhooteshwara records , Galactic groove records, Anarchic Freq.,Gandaky tribe. Recently joining Psynon records for the continuation of his magical journey.
The name derives from the Hittite-Hurrian “Šarruma”, meaning “king of the mountains”. It is a Hurrian god who was adopted into the Hittite pantheon. He is often depicted riding a tiger or panther and carrying an axe.
His music is channeled to inspire a deep inner journey into the psyche with sounds from ancient alien landscapes and earthy entities , that will guide us to find purposeful means and unlock ancient information that was here a long time before us!
