Deltarune - BIG SHOT [raz-mix]

When most people set out to create studies to enhance their skills the subject matter typically ends up being something evocative. Naturally, I made one of Undertale/Deltarune era Toby Fox lol.

My main takeaway from this exercise is that Fox's bread and butter are melodies that are simple yet catchy, with the appropriate backing and percussion to supplement them. My goal was to pursue this line of thought to the best of my ability, utilizing the same sort of rhythms throughout the track, most of which can even be heard in the first few seconds. Thematically, I can see this being an upbeat area theme in the first half but it loses all pretense of that once the shreddage and UGK kick in so who knows. In his defense, his repertoire is larger than most people give him credit for but I stuck with something familiar since that seems to be his signature style.

As for what Madeline from hidden indie gem Celeste is doing in the thumbnail with Toby, I don't really have an avatar to represent myself so I just drew her. As for why her specifically, something about heat from fire, don't look too deep into it haha.

Next up is Lena Raine or Flashygoodness, I can't decide which one would end up being cooler.

This one is a big one for me! It's the first big track I've made so far utilizing EZDrummer 3! This song was stuck in my head for days and I just wanted to jump in and give it an anime-rock/"homestuck-esque" spin to it! What do you guys think! Idk. Just Something I made a little while ago for fun (also sorry for being unexpectedly dead for a month, I was busy for a while/had flu)and this was actually pretty fun to make.
