Schwarzes Echo - Boris Brejcha (Original Mix) - Preview

After the well received success of our last release by Esa, Croatia’s finest bovine inspired label is excited to announce our next moo-sical offering. This time we’ve cast our A&R net eastwards and have snared Russian producer Denis Korsunskiy, aka Information Ghetto.

With releases on fine labels like Get Physical, 3rd Wave Music, Broque, PRO-TEZ and Multi-Vitamins, Denis stands out as one of front-runners of a wave of Russian producers to have emerged in the last decade. When not performing live as Clapan, he delves into various dubbed-out and industrialized soundscapes when producing as Information Ghetto. Working with both analogue and digital equipment using a live-jam ‘on the fly’ methodology, his emotional control and talent for audio manipulation stands out.

Here’s how he describes ‘Inspiration’:

“Inspiration is one of my favourite works so far. It’s a unique composition which I envisioned and later managed to accurately replicate in the world of sound waves. I create my music in constant dialogue with my instruments and often they show me the limit of my creative processes, but with ‘Inspiration’ it turned out to be totally the opposite with me pushing my equipment to new levels and I believe I managed to consciously integrate into it the energy of when I was first introduced to electronic music. For me, those far-away days in the 90s were the period I remember fondly and love so much.”

Complimenting the original track we have a pair of gorgeous remixes; firstly from one of Chicago’s finest masters of the deep, Specter, and other supplied by the techno pioneer and don who played such an integral part of the evolution of the genre in Europe, Aubrey.

Burek 007 will be released in September.

Shadow Child and Kry Wolf’s Food Music has gained a reputation since its inception for consistently supporting new and exciting sounds across the bass music spectrum, and that is set to continue with the release of the long-awaited ‘Girls/Breathe’ EP from Food fan favourites Hannah Wants & Chris Lorenzo.
Hannah Wants & Chris Lorenzo are the Birmingham-based duo behind ‘Dappy’, the immense bass house track that made waves across the UK dance scene and received a DJ Mag Best of British nomination for ‘Best Tune’. Hannah Wants’s bi-monthly mixtape series has gained an almost legendary status, while Chris Lorenzo has made his name collaborating with the likes of Pete Graham and as part of the duo Cause & Affect. Both Hannah and Chris also regularly appear at Birmingham’s seminal 10:31 and 2:31 club nights, cementing their standing as two of the scene’s most exciting names right now.
Although the duo have become notorious for their hard-hitting sound, ‘Girls’ and ‘Breathe’ show off a slightly different side to Hannah and Chris. First up is ‘Girls’, which uses samples from an R’n’B classic to create an intense, moody track with a driving bassline. 

On the flip, ‘Breathe’ may surprise listeners at first with its airy and atmospheric pads, but soon returns to more familiar territory with an 808-style bottom line that will get the floor bouncing.

Dropping just in time for summer, both ‘Girls’ and ‘Breathe’ will be met with excitement from fans and DJs alike, as Hannah and Chris continue to mold their own unique sound.

AFFKT’s ‘palette of colours’ keeps increasing at the same time than the Valencia-based artist shows us the path to follow on his forthcoming LP set to be released in 2016. ‘The Show’ featuring Sutja Gutierrez’s vocals was a great first step to start warning on this ambitious new project; it is time to taste the second advance track: ‘Someone in the Sky’.

For the occasion Marc Martinez Nadal aka AFFKT remains confident on Sutja’s voice and stubbornly continues to dilute the boundaries between touching electro-pop, dynamic synth-lines and techno-house music. Both of them get straight down to a special driving beat and rich piano arpeggios that pull you deeper and deeper over the 6-minute track's duration. Pop sensations have definitely taken a back seat in favour of uncompromising dance floor utility. A profoundly delightful and undeniably danceable journey.

But ‘Someone In The Sky’ also brings a stellar name to the boxing ring, a heavyweight, nothing less than Dosem. He delivers for our particular enjoying a classy club rework leaning shuffler with heady doses of a techy groove. A sure-fire floor-filler. Totally functional for jacking your body wherever you happen to be.

The next offering from pioneering label Constant Circles sees the line between house and techno blurred in an exciting EP from established producer, label owner and visual artist Jonny Lawrence aka REbEL. Following releases on Last Night On Earth, Lower East & Alive, a string of successful visual art pieces and a wealth of recognition for his label Tough Luck, REbEL joins the Constant Circles roster to deliver three stripped back, warehouse inspired grooves, accompanied by his very own hand drawn piece of abstract art.
REbEL ramps up the dynamics with ‘Le Son’; a stripped down cut of house infused techno, with driving analogue drums and a classic chord hook that takes us back to the very roots of house music.

'Rise Of Angel' is the brand new single from Luciano, and the first single to be taken from his forthcoming album, due in 2013.  However, for the many thousands of dedicated music fans who have made the pilgrimage to Luciano's hugely successful parties this Summer in Ibiza (the weekly Ushuaia sessions and Vagabundos at Pacha), or the many Cadenza parties around Europe and North America, 'Rise Of Angel' has already become the signature tune and musical hi-light in Luciano's sets, making its release a highly anticipated moment for the Cadenza faithful.

Clocking in at over 15 minutes, 'Rise Of Angel' is an epic slice of modern electronic dance music, the simply Balearic, synth and piano driven hook gently builds and teases with cinematic intent, the light percussion and organic beats working the old Luciano magic, it's no wonder that 'Rise Of Angel' has become one of the most talked about tracks of the Ibiza season this year.

For the remixes, Luciano has kept it in the family, enlisting the duties of fellow Cadenza artists Mirko Loko, UNER and Andrea Oliva to all lend their unique production styles to a solid set of reinterpretations.  The vinyl 12" is coupled with Mirko Loko's pulsating robotic workout, adding a more beats driven take on Luciano's original, and delving into the bass for a heavyweight techno flecked remix.

And bolstering the digital package, UNER weighs in with a dubbed out, rolling drum version, using the vocal FX to support the groove whilst the pianos ride over the mix, and Andrea Oliva goes straight for the 4/4 jugular with a remix that builds solid tribal beats to a crescendo, adding a new dimension to the Original with a choice vocal section.

'Rise Of Angel' will be Luciano's first release on his own Cadenza label since 2010's Lucien-N-Luciano's 'Cuidad De Luz' EP, and marks the start of another big chapter in his career, having spent the last couple of years building a passionate audience through hundreds of DJ performances around the world, the Vagabundos events and collaborating musically with artists such as Pharrrell (Neptunes) and Lenny Kravitz.  His forthcoming album will be his second full length collection (following 2009's ‘Tribute To The Sun’), and his label, Cadenza Records, will celebrate its 10th anniversary, so the future certainly looks bright for the Chilean producer and DJ.
