DANILO KUPFERNAGEL

Danilo präsentiert ein musikalisches Spektrum, dass perkussiv, treibend und voller Groove ist. Mitreißender Sound, gepaart mit einer offenen und sympathischen Art zelebriert den Moment und lässt die Musik für sich sprechen. Dabei ist er auch gerne mal vor und nach seinen Gigs auf dem Floor anzutreffen, um mit den Gästen wahrhaft „auf Augenhöhe“ sein zu können. Geboren in Gera, der Heimatstadt von Mathias Kaden wurde er schon frühzeitig geprägt durch die Nähe zur MUNA, einer der dienstältesten Techno-Clubs Deutschlands. Gewiss spürt man diese Einflüsse auch bei seinen Gigs. Seine Liebe zum Vinyl entdeckte er im Jahr 2012 und diese ist seit dem Ungebrochen, so spielt er auch heute noch hauptsächlich den schwarzen Tonträger. Danilo leb für die Musik regelrecht und das kann jeder spüren.

Steve Bug teams up once again with long time collaborator Cle for two tracks of elevated house music. 

Hallucinous slips into a slinky groove from the off - a restless baseline interacting with a charming two note string sound and skipping percussion. 

Discrete Circuit takes things a little deeper vibewise, delivering a tight groove and arpeggiated synths that bring a psychedelic rush to the fore. 

The third track is a remix of the title track by Leeni and Danilo Kupfernagel, who merge a firing deep house rhythm track with dubbed out chord stabs and atmospheric pads and vocal samples.

That was the most memorable and craziest after-hour trip I have ever experienced. There was the stupid one as the other, but we have celebrated together like the old days. Has ensured Thanks to Tecksuss, for the incredible journey back in time to my first party experiences. A genius of the old school.

This recording was made especially for the limited CD-Release "Back to the 90's", which was given away to the guests of the after show.

We like to think of ourselves of social chameleons here at Data Transmission; as at home in the glamour of Ibiza and Las Vegas as we are in a basement in Berlin. Well this week see us head to Berlin for ‘Glitz’ with an exclusive mix from Andreas Henneberg. Born in, loving and working in the pulsating German capital Andreas comes with quite a pedigree when it comes to electronic music as the founder Voltage Musique Records” in addition to being the mastermind behind his “The Glitz” and “Hennon aliases as he releases on some of the scenes hottest labels with the likes of IDEAL Audio, , Confused Recordings and Toolroom all housing his talents.

With 15 years experience behind the scenes Andreas is probably one of your favourite producers even if you don’t quite know it having had a hand in a plethora of classic productions from behind the scenes as as a producer, label owner, mastering-engineer and of course as a DJ. It’s his skills as the latter we’re showcasing today with his unique blend of techno and house refusing to conform to catergorisation as it’s too busy moving the dancefloor . Time to dust off the dancing shoes we think…
