Fun projects need to be shared. In this case I like to give away my newest fun project - I did in my free time. Hashtag is a combination of five elements in one track. With the focus on a snare drum roll, a upward pitching part, a melody, a fat baseline and acid elements. Acid in that case means, crazy sounds in a groovy beat. Hope you like it - have fun.

First of all I like to wish you Merry Christmas. Think about positive things in life and have a great time together with your Family. That´s most important. I am really happy to give away my this years "Christmas Mix" (Number 05). This time I decided to record my DJ Mix in a Club in Germany (Augsburg) called "Kesselhaus" which I really love. If you want to know how this will sound, remixed by one of techno´s most sought-after producers of our time, we suggest you to get one of the 1000 vinyl copies of this release. For several obvious reasons, CLR 051 is an extraordinary record and already a collector´s item.

You can also get the full remix bundle including the original album version along with an array of remixes including, among others, Photek, Chris Liebing, Michael Mayer and Paul Van Dyk as a digital download on Moby´s very own label “Little Idiot”.

In anticipation of Cityfox Transcend: The Brooklyn Mirage Season Closing event, this house mix sustained by classically distorted drum beats and whimsical, yet menacing, spacey synth sounds — is a spontaneous sound odyssey we’ve come to expect from @bebetta.

What’s in a name? In Bebetta’s case, mystery, motivation, and wordsmith magic. After being nudged by friends to play beyond their casual dinner parties, Anika Schnabel bypassed a career in design, began vinyl DJing at first, then birthed her producer and DJ persona, Bebetta in 2008. The name sounds like what it means — a constant reminder to be better, to push oneself, to dig deeper for meaning and creativity, all the while delivering a finished track where you can hear the spontaneity, whimsy, and fun of the process behind making it. It’s this admirable ambition and carefree, yet ever voracious curiosity that has been a driving and enduring force behind her very first track, her wildly popular scene-bending visual podcast ‘Bebetta in Bed,’ and her most recent releases.

Here in this Foxcast, Bebetta — a classically trained visual storyteller weaves together a sound story that starts elated and hopeful and gets deeper, darker, and more complex with progression. Laid over classic techno and house beats and synth grooves tropical you hear steel drum tribal house accents which somehow segue seamlessly into melodic tech-house tracks mixed to make you catch the beat and release your vibe throughout the entire recording.
