If you’ve been paying close attention to dance music circles lately, AIMMIA is likely a name you already have on your radar. The up-and-coming producer has broken onto the scene with full force, playing shows at clubs and venues all over LA and growing her discography with remixes and collaborations that showcase her bass-tinged house sound. Her first remix found her putting a fresh spin on SIDEPIECE‘s track “Acrobatic,” while her collaboration “No Self Control” with Ciszak leaned further into exploring her own original sound.

Last week, her remix for VNSSA‘s “In The Dark” got an official release after she won first place in the producer’s remix contest. The original track, which first landed on LP Giobbi‘s FEMME HOUSE project, was revamped with an oscillating bassline and club-ready feel provided by AIMMIA. But listeners are still hungry for more – lately, she’s gotten a roaring response from social media as her highly sought-after ID “Group Therapy” has been making its rounds. Previews of the track hint at an irresistibly fun house track that is sure to make its way into playlists and live sets across the board upon its official release.

AIMMIA’s stage presence is nearly as infectious as her music, so while you’re waiting for more releases to come, make sure to catch her throwing down a set at a show or festival near you. Will nature finally decide that we shed enough of our feces and waste? Will it stop this chain of exploiting goods and making, consuming and throwing the same shit over and over again, with larger and more aggressive excrescence than the one we already have?
Or we can end this bank slavery and media dumbing digital superspecies all by ourselves. We can choke ourselves to death with pollution, or just continue with what we've been doing best throughout our entire history... killing each other!!
And for what? Probably out of pure cowardice!! A very small percentage of the population is insolently rich and powerful so they don't give a shit. For them everything is exactly where it should be. And the rest are just too stupid, blind or too depressed to change anything.
None of them are part of any future! For savages there is no future!

I can only hope and believe that our children will be highly conscious and a lot more daring than we were, so they could remember this time just as another dark age of human civilization!

Sasha Carassi, hailing from Napoli, is a DJ, producer and composer whose style spans eclectically across the electronic landscape.
Sasha began his musical journey during the first years of the 90's, working as resident DJ at Dinamik, the most famous club in the area, when he was only 15. Influenced by House Music and Breakbeat, he has ventured into the production world, releasing his first album in 2002, after which followed a slew of well-received singles that cemented his reputation as producer. But 2010 was a massive year for Sasha production-wise, with releases on a host of big labels including the mighty Drumcode and Bedrock. This saw him make his presence known in the darker, big-room oriented side of the genre. Sasha loves the studio and his output is always visceral and atmospheric with trademark touches that makes his tunes instantly recognizable, perfectly proved in his “Picture” on Solomun’s Diynamic, where he shows his change of musical direction. Nowadays, in fact, he doesn't love defining himself with a proper genre because for him it is really limiting, but he loves feeling free to express his emotions, trying to mix and balance the different influences.
In 2009 he founded one of the most respected Techno labels “Phobiq”, releasing killer cuts discovering many talents as well as his own, but he broke away from it to launch his new label “ILINX”, which fully reflects his views on music. 
Avid vinyl collector since the late 80’s, now he can boast a wide range of records, from the classic to the most contaminated electronic music. Known as a “seasoned veteran”, Sasha is revered within the electronic music scene for his skills and work ethic.
