Parisian producers – Jacques Bon and Vincent Drux – take a seat with TTA to discuss their specializations inside a shared space and within their debut album, A Long Way. For thirteen years, Jacques Bon managed (the now retired) Paris branch of Smallville Records. Otherwise, Jaques Bon has earned an impressive reputation, releasing on other notable record labels such as Giegling, Live at Robert Johnson, and Mule Musiq. Vincent Drux is a “behind-the-scenes type”; who uproots his technical background as a sound engineer to hone his sonic pallet. While majoring in sound design, Drux recently started his own label, Cabale Records… stay tuned as they launch past the infancy stages. Although this is their first album together, the two are long-acquainted, their first joint track being Fading Sail – released on Lawrence’s Dial Records – in 2020. The duo's like-minded friendship revels in a balanced dynamic of musical intersections. Ideal for those in-between hours, A Long Way (released 7/1/22) is eight tracks, featuring futuresque blends of warm color atop some cooler minimal shades. Despite the standing point, Jacques Bon and Drux’s recent collaboration has requited a positively bittersweet confection.

RTS.FM BERLIN x Sol Asylum w/ Julie Marghilano

A transmission materialised in our inbox.  Initially veiled in suspicion, this clandestine missive tantalised us with it's cryptic origins.   I mean you just dont ignore emails with subject a title like; "Your Prize Awaits!" do you??

Trepidation aside, we delved in, this is a dub techno mix from a source unknown, known only as AARO.  With a few new and older recognisable tracks we can only surmise that it is someone with their eyes (and ears) wide open.

Lets hope this is the first on many disclosed mixes becasue we like what we hear.

Floral Notes is a DJ, producer and visual artist based in Berlin who co-hosts the Trouble in Paradise show on Cashmere Radio.

As a DJ his main focus is house music, with an emphasis on the deep and dubby side of things. This mix leans heavily on early '00s golden era minimal, beginning and ending with tracks by Thomas Melchior, and the whole thing is shot through with dreamy pads. The tempo hovers just below 120 throughout, each track unfolding at a leisurely pace before passing the baton.

Psýchodripsis to konceptualny ambientowy projekt oparty na idei ucieczki od własnego „ja”. Nadchodzący album to zbiór dźwiękowych opowieści utrzymanych w klimacie takich gatunków jak ambient, noise czy muzyka filmowa.

Anegonia ( Echoes of the Forgotten Self) to singiel z nadchodzacej EPki. Utwór jest ostatnim elementem opowieści, gdzie słuchacz nie otrzyma odpowiedzi, nie znajdzie katharsis.
Zamiast tego – poczuje chłód. Rozluźnienie. Lekką grozę. Może niepokój, który nie ma źródła.
Może też coś więcej: ulgę w tym, że nie wszystko trzeba rozumieć.

"Psýchodripsis" is a conceptual ambient project exploring the idea of escaping one’s own self.
The upcoming album is a collection of soundscapes influenced by ambient, noise, and cinematic music.

"Anegonia (Echoes of the Forgotten Self)" is the closing track of the upcoming EP.
It offers no answers and no catharsis — only a sense of coldness, release, subtle dread, and unease without a clear source.
It may also bring something else: the relief that not everything has to be understood.

On Sept. 15, 2017, Cassini made its final approach to the giant planet Saturn. It dived into the planet's atmosphere, sending science data for as long as its small thrusters could keep the spacecraft's antenna pointed at Earth. Soon after, Cassini burned up and disintegrated like a meteor.
Total Mission Elpased Time: 19 years, 11 months, 0 days, 3 Hours, 12 Minutes and 46 Seconds.
