My obsession with music has been manifesting throughout my life through several different forms: I've played several instruments, I've tried writing and even writing about it; I'm now taking a step forward from the sidelines to reflect this collected experience into a sonic narrative that could only begin with an homage to my biggest musical reference: Björk.
With this debut track, I'm trying to lure you into my own Hidden Place, where you can feel both the delicate lightrays hitting the blossoming flowers of a glade and the piercing thorns these flowers bare.

Yet another Björk edit, this time around on Post's "Headphones". Headphones always intrigued me for it's dark but dreamy vibe; like a very weird dream that you want to keep dreaming just to get to the bottom of it. This edit tries to emulate this feeling with hard hitting percussion all the way through it and beautiful melodies that will lull you into a powerful imaginative state.

Not much was decided in advance but the BPM. It followed an organic, coherent and surprisingly decent ;) back 2 back. Love you Aaaron! This brings back lovely Summer memories.

I was really happy to take part in Noods’ Sporecast Radio – a day of programming celebrating World Mushroom Day on the 15th of October, and also dedicated to the late DJ Mooncup (an amazing soul who knew so much about fungi of all kinds🧡)

Noods asked me to put together an ambient mix to start the day’s broadcast at 7am. The mix I made tells the story of mycelium under the earth slowly waking up and sprouting into beautiful mushrooms. Finding a mushroom sprouting out of the ground is always something I find exciting, and I wanted to capture that feeling in this mix 🍄🌿

In so many ways mushrooms are the future - they can break down plastics and toxic substances, help heal physical and psychological conditions, communicate with trees, provide a sustainable & healthy food source, grow eco-friendly alternatives to leather and packaging, operate as natural pesticides, and so much more - here’s to mushrooms!

An encounter with a wayward dragonfly formed the memory upon which London’s Amphybian (fka Harry) stitches this exploration of flight and form. Reliving the scene in its microscopic splendor, we find ourselves wandering along the living, breathing riverbed, set free amidst the realm of the naiad. Our ears attuned, we hear a divine flutter, discern the whisper of a living dream.

The recording of my set at Paral·lel Festival 2022 🌲⛰🧡 @parallelfestival

I was on 12.30-14.30 on Saturday afternoon. When I started playing, grey hazy clouds were still drifting across the panorama from Friday night’s storm, and by the end of my set, the sun was shining down on all of us.

This set meant a great deal to me, and being gifted the task of drifting from ambient expansion into trippy rhythms, coaxing everyone up off the floor and into movement, was such a dream.

Hope you enjoy this memory from an amazing weekend in those magical mountains 🧚✴️

Welcome beloved listeners, tonight's episode is slightly different to usual.

This piece was recorded live at Whole Festival during the transience takeover which featured sets by incredible prismatic~entities: Fairy Queen of Elves; Titania otherwise known as Synthtati, The Butterfly~Sorceress, Sybil and a live set by the cosmic angel, Dan Nicolls under the caress of breezes. Nine winds carrying all the temptations, delights, and perils that come with such a field as bass throbbed on in the distance. Hence, this set is a liiiiiiittle more wild that Lou's usual transience selection, as they channelled what was needed for that particular brew of listeners, at that particular point on earth, a process in spontaneity revealed itself. An 'ego death' experiment in trusting the process, the habits and tools they have learned. They experimented with dissonance and the harmonic relief that can come when such dissonance is removed. The length of time one can stand a sound… and so on.

Lou offers this mix as a guide for others who would like to listen back and join their journey~wormhole.

Frosti is a little musicbox interlude in Björk’s ‘Vespertine’ that always caught my attention for being one of the very few instrumental only projects from Björk; its beautiful melody has the power to transport you to one of your childhood chilly nights while at the same time nesting you so you will never feel cold again. Frosti is also a prelude to Aurora, one of my favorite songs on that album. 
  One night I had a dream of these big pumping drums bouncing to this interlude’s climax so I tried to recreate this. It sounds silly and noobish but I hope this is able to blast some friction into you to melt the frosting surrounding us. 
  I’ve been finally able to start producing my own music so 70% of my focus has been on that, and I’m loving every step of my journey! I’ve got some new things coming so stay tuned 💘
