It's been almost a decade since the Bosnian Techno-House heavyweight Sinisa Tamamovic made his Yoshitoshi debut with his signature dark and high energy sound. After five releases (and two remixes), Tamamovic is back on Yoshi with arguably his best work yet, the Hypnotised EP.

For the first time, Sinisa offers something different; an incredible vocal track. The title track has been a mainstay in Sharam's sets for well over a year, and it was one of the most sought-after tracks from Sharam and Deep Dish's BPM Costa Rica opening party. It comes with a classic Sinisa groove and features the ethereal vocals of Katarina Tatic.

'There hardly is a set that I play without including a Sinisa Tamamovic track. Whenever I need to give my floor a jolt, I simply bring in some Sinisa vibe, and voila, I have my floor locked in and hypnotised (pun intended) - We've been sitting on 'Reboot' and 'Drop' for over 2 years now, since we released his Rings EP. Macedonia's finest Saso Recyd prepares to make his SCI+TEC debut with The Last. A trio of energetic techno cuts that showcase the impressive talent that has already lead to him featuring his work on Ovum, Minus, Inmotion and Plus8. He also recently remixed the Murk classic 'Dark Beat’, and collaborated with Relief Records boss Green Velvet on the hugely popular Minitaka.

The mind-bending Napolitanka opens his three track SCI+TEC selection, followed by the fierce snare-laden sounds of Alnitak. The deeper melancholic vibes of the title track close out the release and confirm that this will definitely not be "The Last" we see of Saso Recyd on the label.

At long last, part 3 of Sharam's Collecti project has arrived, unveiling more brand new tracks ahead of the full album drop on Friday, October 13th.

The aptly named Dubbi is a sinister groover replete with echoing stabs that pay homage to the dub reggae sound of 1970's Jamaica, laid over one of Sharam's signature beats and featuring a beautiful arpegiating breakdown. 

'I've always been facinated with combining elements of dub reggae with house and techno grooves. This one started in 2009 as a follow up to Texi, but i was never fully satisfied and it took on many incarnations over the years. The lastest of which is what you hear now, which i just finished couple of weeks ago. Maybe I'll release the original on the album...' - Sharam 

Then, sidestepping the darker techno vibe of the rest of the project, Napoli's influences range far and wide. A 303 riff loops wistfully over an absolutely infectious bass line as Sharam teases keyboard samples that eventually culminate in a full-on jazzadelic breakdown. 'Napoli was so rich in ideas i had to do an acid dub for those that prefer their music more subtle,' quips Sharam. 

Things take another turn toward the twisted with Atari, where Sharam employs more of the reese bass madness that was found on Collecti, Pt. 2, and the track pays homage to its namesake with blips, stabs, and 8-bit effects that could have been pulled straight from an old arcade game. 

'Atari, was so much fun - and so difficult to make, as I was again, trying to fit a few ideas into one cohesive track. It's definitely different but it can easily fit in any driving techno set and the breakdown causes mayhem everytime.' - Sharam

Finally we have a remastered version of Sharam's 2008 Ibiza classic Texi, originally released on vinyl and one of his most epic works to date. Texi is a prime example of Sharam' ability to craft music ahead of its time, combining elements of house and drum n' bass years before it was cool.

Every raver has their sunrise story. It usually takes place around 6 AM, after dancing all night, when the first rays of light usher in a new musical energy, something wild and magical. It’s the kind of moment people romanticize for years, even decades after. Such was the desired effect of Luzon’s 2002 classic Manila Sunrise. The tune contains a raw, tribal energy that few others can claim. Drawing influence from the Goa scene, it’s twirling pads and majestic vocal made it an instant progressive house staple that redefined the genre. We’re proud to bring back this insatiable classic for our fifteenth Yoshitoshi Classic remix pack, with contributions from three of today’s finest producers — label owner Sharam, Swiss studio ace Khainz, and New York techno legend Boris.

Sharam’s remix adds some modern flare to the original's progressive nature. He injects some dark, drum n’ bass-inspired sounds, a catchy new melody, and a beautiful, pad-and-vocal driven breakdown that transports listeners and club-goers to another dimension. Khainz makes his Yoshitoshi debut with a remix that boasts a myriad of stabs, effects, and other synth wizardry over a driving, tech house groove. His monstrous builds give away to exhilarating, unapologetic release. Finally, Boris transforms the track into a percussion-driven monstrosity that smacks of the classic New York 90's techno sound. The mix itself is built around banging drums and heavy bass, while the original’s delicate vocal contrasts the brutal nature of his remix, creating a powerful sonic dichotomy. As a bonus, Canada’s Justin James and Spain’s Fer BR deliver two tasty remixes. This release is scheduled on March 26th.

Alex Molina aka The Deals and Rafa Siles alias Siles are two figures of the new Spanish electronic scene, which they are proud to represent. Indissociable from Barcelona, these two close friends tirelessly stir up the nights of the Catalan capital thanks to their residences at the famous InPut for The Deals and Barraca for Siles, which already gave them the opportunities to play alongside such great names as Chris Liebing, Loco Dice, Paco Osuna, Alan Fitzpatrick, Sam Paganini and many more. Thanks to a growing reputation, Alex was able to release his productions on labels such as Deeperfect, Waveform or SCI+TEC, while his sidekick could enter refused., Oneself., Stickrecordings and SCI+TEC too. The inseparable men express a sincere respect and a genuine mutual admiration: “I met Rafa four or five years ago. Since then, our friendship has constantly grown and today I can say that he is one of the best people I’ve met in the music industry, and the one with I speak more everyday,” Alex says.
In this first four-handed petrified EP, The Deals and Siles sign two enigmatic tracks worn by a dark and catchy beat, with almost robotic melodies drawn to the oscilloscope for Broken Bass, and more pressurized sounds for Backstage. “We started this artistic collaboration about one year ago. We advanced in small touches while keeping each one’s style, until getting these two tracks. Alex and I always try to make dark and minimalist sounds. We have a fairly similar vision of what we like to produce, and we constantly share our ideas to get the point of view of each other. So, working together just made sense,” Rafa says. “These two tracks bring together many elements that we like to put forward in our DJ sets: they are dark and mental while having beautiful melodic parts. The inspiration came very naturally,” he adds.
 
The Deals soon back to France?
 
In addition to these two tracks, Fer BR and Justin James enrich this EP with two brilliant remixes exploring the different sonic facets of the original mixes. The Spaniard offers a very minimal and groovy Broken Bass, while the Canadian delivers a version of Backstage to be listened in the middle of the night and preferably on a solid sound system. “Justin James is a DJ and producer I’ve always admired for his personal style. I was able to release an EP on his label refused. As for Fer BR, I played with him and we shared a lot together. He is a very good friend and a great producer.

'Italian duo POLS return to the Frequenza stable with 2 potent new slabs of techno exquisitely ripe for festival season. ‘Arcanite' is deep and driving, teased with haunting voices, boyant stabs and tension perfect breakdowns. ‘Prismatic Circle’ is both dramatic and infectious, underpinned by a deep bass throb, revolving dark stabs and atmospheric synth waves. Also the package the mighty Ramon Tapia slams out a high octane remix of ‘Arcanite’, loaded with a brooding bass and climatic breakdowns, and Frequenza boss Nihil Young takes on ‘Prismatic Circle’, injecting a menacing bass growl and eery synth washes that dramatically coil over a platter of innovative beats. 

POLS are Italian producers Paolo Armellin and Francesco Da Re who started producing together in 2015 and are currently making some of the most lively Techno Italy has to offer. Prior to starting POLS, Francesco found success with his electro project called Vegamoore, touring the United States and releasing with Dim Mak and Paolo cut his teeth woking the local scene as a DJ. Their tracks so far including 'Lost In Berlin EP, 'Eruption EP’ and 'The Underworld EP’, all feature a mixture of a dark, brooding basslines and melodic arpeggiated synthesizers. Seamlessly blending analog with digital, the duo have worked hard to refine their signature sound. '
