DJMC's international debut on planet.mu seminal *Bangs and Works* compilation in 2010 marked his arrival on the global footwork stage. Though he took a hiatus, his love for production was reignited after DJ.Mc’s unique and spacey EP entitled Relentless was released on the illustrious @hyperdub records Label in London. For SAF Vol. 4 comp., he brings “What That Be Like,” a track that embodies the expansive, unmistakably Chicago footwork sound. Layered with a slowed-down jazz sample and a heavy, driving bassline, the track also pulls in a sample from *Friday After Next*, from the *Friday* trilogy which we totally fuck with 😎 Be sure to check out our exclusive interview w/him. Born in Montreal, SasQ fell in love with D&B in 2011 and decided to buy his first turntables to explore his new found passion, and joined Bassix Soundsystem shortly afterwards. In 2013, he left the city to live on the West Coast for a decade, which exposed him to a diverse range of Bass Music, growing his arsenal from simple D&B to include jungle, juke, footwork, halftime, and a plethora of interesting sounds. Now back in Quebec, SasQ is ready to deliver unique sets with a diverse range of music not often heard on the Canadian East Coast.
