swisherman brings a considered approach when choosing the music, with over a decade of experience in soundtracking warehouse parties, abandoned spaces, dusty dancefloors & the occasional legitimate venue in & around Eora/Sydney in Australia, as well as recent gigs in Japan & New Zealand. No stranger to outdoor festivals, swisherman has also brought his unique blend of deep, minimal & meditative dance music to gatherings across Australia and NZ, including Twisted Frequency (NZ), Dragon Dreaming, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Earth Frequency, Subsonic, Psyfari, Armada, Art Valley, Zenith Gathering, Origins Of Entropy, & many more.

He has played support slots for international heavyweights including Halogenix, Loefah, Hodge, Goth Trad, Mystic State, Deepbass, Zed Bias, Shackleton, De:Tu, Versa, Azu Tiwaline, Sub Basics, Piezo, Ebb, Truth and many more.

swisherman is a core member of DUNJ, a crew who throw parties all over the city, from abandoned and unused spaces all the way to iconic venues like the Opera House. 

swisherman also works full time as a post production audio engineer, so he knows a thing or two about making audio with impact.

swisherman is inspired by misty mornings, home built sound systems and plants that grow in the gutter.

Electronic music enthusiast since forever, I enjoy making dark sounding beats and ambient soundscapes with whatever I've got - generally midi sequencer drum machines and some analog synths.

As a Sydney based raver, I was Influenced by the acid sounds of the 90s, hip hop and minimal techno. 

My music is a blend of whatever I'm feeling at the time. In the 90s I played at numerous raves and crazy house parties, the Big Day Out with Clan Analogue and a live set on FBI radio later in 2004 or so. 

My gear has included Roland SH-05, Roland SH-09, AKAI VX90, Waldorf Pulse, Korg Wavestation, Yamaha RM1X, Ensoniq ASR-10, Yamaha RS7000, and various mixers, effects racks and compressors. 

I play with computer based production, but prefer to jam live and record a track straight up with no edits. ROCK BOTTOM was a member ov Sydney's legendary 'Vibe Tribe' during thee early to mid 1990's under a different name. He was playing an many Vibe Tribe events and was a regular at most underground Raves/Parties/Doofs during thee 90's and early 2000’s in Sydney. He also played a 3hr set live on Triple J's 'Mix Up' in 1998. He later went on to play at numerous 'Junglepunks', 'TRIP2SPACE' and 'SWARM' events as well as hosting some ov his own signature parties. He also played at 'Teriyaki' and 'Filter' in Melbourne during that time. 

After taking a break from thee DJ circuit, ROCK BOTTOM has returned to thee scene in Melbourne bringing his visual flare ov punk and Pounding Techno sounds, all packed with a taste ov mayhem and anarchy. This Rebel DJ puts thee Anti-establishment back into RAVE and will have you rocking like a real Techno Punk should.

ROCK BOTTOM has performed for 1400 punters at thee amazing 'Heavy Congress' event at thee 'Forum' in Melbourne in June 2022.  He is also working closely with an amazing, newly emerging crew called 'MegaMorphis'.

He has also just completed organising thee P.I.M.P Australian Tour '25 doing five (5) shows under thee name 'ROXX BOXX' with thee P.I.M.P Records guys between February 13 - March  4th in Naarm/Melbourne, Sydney and Wollongong. 
Thee final party in this tour was an incredible squat party in Naarm that was for Chief303's Birthday. 
it's a party none ov us will ever forget. 
What a party!!!!


ROCK BOTTOM has played supporting sets with Chris Liberator, D.A.V.E The Drummer, Austin Corrosive, Biochip C, Sterling Moss, DICA, CJ Bolland, DDR, Chief303, Aciderick, Adam Pits & Lisene.
