 Born & raised in south central los angeles california, "D.j. Romeo"  rose to recognition 
as not only a d.j. but a producer and a media Svengali 
his impact is felt not just on the l.a. music scene but  worldwide as well.
"Rome" as he is known to most, begin his musical journey as young d j at crenshaw high school in south central. 
a school that also produced the likes of "BOBCAT" "BATTLE CAT" and even "ICE T" among others..  
all people who Rome would eventually cross paths  with and collaborate with in some form or fashion..
 Romeo's fortune would change when he began an internship at 1580 K.D.A.Y. 
after making his mark as a street d. j. this was his way of going "legit".
 His duties were answering phones & gophering for  
"GREG  MACK"   
@ KDAY  the first radio station in the world to play alternative and rap/hip hop 24/7. 
It was Greg Mack that started it in July 1983.
   Rome's break into spinning on the radio and eventually joining the world famous 
"KDAY MIXMASTERS": an explosive team of l.a.'s most dynamic d.j.s ; who included
"DR.DRE", "JOE COOLEY", "BOBCAT", "JAMMIN' JAMES", "M-WALK", "RALPH M", 
"TONY G", "JULIO G", AND "BATTLE CAT" And Vocalist  "King Trick" among others.
"D.J. ROMEO" has gone on to become an in demand club d.j. worldwide 
as well as concert d.j.  to backup acts such as
MASTER RHYME, PUBLIC ENEMY, TONE LOC, YOUNG MC, LIGHTER SHADE OF BROWN, MC TROUBLE, QUEEN LATIFAH
And Numerous others.
