Hi Friends! Been a minute since I posted something to my Soundcloud page. This is a recording of my set at a magical campout earlier this month, one which I've been participating in the last few summers called Diane's Hunting Club. It's a special space with a lot of care given so that everyone can stretch out and immerse themselves in a deeper listening experience, in the middle of a forest, on a fantastic 4 corner sound system. I got an opportunity to play some more experimental stuff, and also some minimal, acid and house grooves that I missed playing. I dedicated this set to Michel Baumann aka Soulphiction, aka Jackmate aka Manmade Science (the list of fantastic alias and projects goes on and on) who I have always looked up to, and whose music inspired and touched me and so many others over the years. He will be greatly missed but his spirit through music lives on!

Hey Friends! Happy to share the recording of my closing set at my favorite campout gathering, Diane's Hunting Club. This campout is a place to stretch out, lose track of time, meditate on the many beautiful leaf fractals, share old favorites, new treasures and things that don't always fit for a dance floor set. I love these few days in the woods with friends, everyone contributing to the collective joy in their own way! For the image I included the fabulous sticker that April made for this year's gathering, and this wonderful poem that DHC regular Danielle wrote just for me. Until next year! xoSam

Printworks London gave me the fantastic honour of playing the opening slot at their ridiculously dope venue better in the south of London. After that show in February of 2017 I was asked to become their first ever resident. The bi-weekly sets I played over the following 15 weeks of Issue001 allowed me to experiment & learn a lot about myself and inspired me to make this eclectic mix of Electonica for their podcast series. Thank you to all that came out early every week to support me!

So, it is only natural that this seasoned would provide us with a pristine mix of the sounds that are a quintessential part of his life and artistic trajectory, as well of the city's nightlife. In nuce, this is a much needed history lesson to us all, one that he gladly brings to the table in this very special episode of Gop Cast.

Sassmouth is a DJ based in her longtime adopted home, Chicago. She playfully mixes all kinds of records with a focus on techno, house, acid and electro sounds. She created her label god particle as a homage to this style of DJing- a place for friends to showcase music that connects the dots between all these styles of dance music. She is a rave mom and real mom and co-runs Walking and Falling- a mentor program for woman and non-binary music enthusiasts that want to learn to DJ. If you don’t see her in the booth she is very likely dancing her ass off by the front left speaker.
