Its a Txirimiri of sounds and a throw back to the music we so wholeheartedly enjoy as we gladly welcome Keke for our 28th episode of Parental Guidance. A familiar face in the circuit, the family conitnues to grow and we are graced by her musical expressions.  As this Jolberg A-lister shares some of her favourite tunes as a Paranoid London lover and stan with a heart for detroit. Known for her flair and desire to get the crowd going who is to say you can’t dance in the supermarket or share this with your co-workers. Expression is where its at and we are happy to have a defining moment like this.

Dynamic and engaging is how we’d describe this mix with blends from Theus Mago and Dj Dextro in the mix we hope you njoy listening to this just as much as we did. And to paraphrase Palmer, we hope you can dance to the beats she is serving.

Atoxyl is a UK and Caribbean‑rooted DJ who has established themselves in Brighton’s underground techno scene. Known for distinctive sets at local venues and intimate gatherings, they blend earthy textures, deep rhythms and raw basslines. 

This mix explores the balance between past and present by blending futuristic hi‑tech sounds with deep, raw basslines and earthy undertones, nodding to the unadulterated roots of techno culture.

In this radiant chapter of Parental Guidance, we invite DJ Lolo to share some of his tastes and experiences with us—as he blends rhythm, memory, and intention into one seamless groove. It’s a full circle moment, because if you had told me 13 years ago that we’d be sharing music, I would not have believed it—but here we are, and the proof is in the pudding.
It is a pleasure to welcome DJ Lolo to Parental Guidance for our first step into the sub-genres of baile funk, hardgroove, and good old techno. We are treated to a set of polyrhythms that capture movement on the dance floor while calling upon the likes of Floorplan, DJ Dextro, and Sattam—giving us a variety of beats and treats as we move our feet.
This episode isn’t just about sound—it’s about mood.
