Here's a number originally composed by Jean-Luc Ponty... a brilliant violinist of the jazz/pop persuasion. This entire piece is created using MIDi programming with Logic Pro X, Reason and a number of other synthesizer programs. It has a unique sound, and, though I don't profess it to even be a rough facsimile of the original work, which itself was brilliant, still, it still has a catchy little beat to it.. perhaps you'll agree? I grew up in India in the 60s and 70s and these are bands that were the soundtrack to my younger years. Most of these songs are covers of some great singers and songs I grew up listening to. It's a joy and an honor to sing these covers. I try to do them like the originals wherever I can. I sing all the voices and play the instruments that are on each cover.
