Soliamos juntarnos un grupo de amig@s para cantar mantras, uno de ellos me gustó en especial:
Dang dang doko dang. Desconozco de quien era la idea original, la versión que me gusta y de la que
saqué los tres acordes es de Gabriela Nehmert. Agarré esa idea y la desarrollé en esta pequeña
locura.
Utilicé la IA de Kits para que las voces que grabé se convirtieran en voces femeninas. Tras mucho
trabajo de tratamiento sonoro el resultado me parece muy satisfactorio.

Trust the Rust is back with a vengeance. The second compilation by Kri Records takes up where the previous one left off: rusty electro, occult wave, distorted acid and melancholic EBM.

We're happy to welcome back Alonzo, NY's finest, who opens the release with his signature 808 bass. Hayter pushes pitched-down vocals and filthy electro vibe further, while Chino delivers a diabolical ravey EBM banger. Serbian duo YusYus marches on with an authoritative synth anthem Masters Of The Future and Disco Morato finishes the A side with a hypnotic slow burner Ultime.

B Side opens with a bang by Parand, followed by arctic electro mist crafted by System Disorder (aka Dj Nephil). Marco Segato smoothly blended electro and jungle with the track Subconscious, Zagreb collective Lab Personnel's dark stomper might evoke fist pumps on the floor, while E.L.I.'s nostalgic piece Atonal Being rounds the release.

Available as a cassette tape and digitally on the 4th of October 2024.

KRI009 Trust the Rust vol.2 (snippets)

Recorded live in Overton Park in MEMPHIS, April 20th, 2025.

It was a beautiful day! We did a renegade system and danced and raised money for Memphis Food Not Bombs in our amazing park. “Pass the Torch” was a special day for me, because it was at the instigation of my son Jah, who is a burgeoning deejay and knew we used to do renegade soundsystems every year for 420. So a few of us older heads played, and then he and his inspiring younger crew. Around here, the “kids” are definitely alright. 

 Some classics and some surprises. I had a lot of fun opening the day with this set.
