We are beyond happy to share with you this week's episode narrated by super talented, New York based dj and promoter, @imanrizky

Iman Rizky was bred on house beats from the early '80s and '90s.  His relationship with dance music back then was a transcendental experience every weekend at places like New York City's Red Zone, the Tunnel, Limelight’s Disco 2000, the Sound Factory, and the legendary Twilo.  Iman became a promoter for the Tunnel, Limelight, and the Palladium during the club scene era of the late '80s.  His immersion in the heyday of club culture in NYC prompted the pursuit of his true life-long passion of DJing. With his extensive knowledge of dance music from both participation and promotion, he was able to cultivate a unique DJ sound to call his own.  As the club scene era wound down and the dance music scene went underground in the early 2000s, Iman formed the party production group, Ku-Deta, which put together events stateside as well as internationally.  Around the same time, he started his weekly DJ residency at SEA in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where he continues to play on Fridays and Sundays.

Ku-Deta provided a precursory template for ebb + flow music, an NYC-based production company that Iman Rizky founded with Gavin Stephenson in 2013. The underground parties of ebb + flow music have brought consistent high quality music and an undeniably contagious vibe to the dance music scene. As an ebb + flow resident, Iman's DJ sets are laden with minimal groovy beats layered with melodic sounds that build in a cycle of high peaks and low valleys. He takes the crowd on a thrilling roller coaster ride of music that elevates the mind, moves the body, and satisfies the soul. In the summer of 2014, Iman took ebb + flow to another level with collaboration on music production with Justin Marchacos and Gavin Stephenson. The trio became Second Format and has been producing tracks with driving bass lines and catchy, danceable hooks. Justin and Second Format's Giants EP was released on the Cityfox label and charted in the Top 10 on Beatport within its first week.

His constant motivation, desire to please and ability to bring people together to enjoy great music have made him one of the most respected and innovative DJs of today’s music scene.  He has shared spots alongside world class artists including Audiofly, Behrouz,  Clarian, DAVI, Einmusik, Hoj, Jamie Jones, Mark Slee, Nico Stojan, Oona Dahl, Robbie Akbal, Tara Brooks, Tim Green, Tim Engelhardt, Vincent Casanova, Yokoo and many more.

I'll be taking you on a journey through the sounds of some of the most iconic and talented electronic music producers out there. 
I’ve created a fantastic mix for you tonight, featuring tracks from Extrawelt, Bodzin, Huntemann, Hannes Bieger, Tal Fussman, Echonomist, and Kollektiv Turmstraße.

First up, I start with a track from Extrawelt called "Wolkenbruch." This German duo has been making waves in the techno scene for years, and this track is a perfect example of their unique sound. With its driving bassline and intricate melodies, "Wolkenbruch" is sure to get your heart racing.

Next, I’ve mixed a classic from Bodzin called "Stand." This track is a masterpiece of minimal techno, with its hypnotic rhythms and haunting melodies. Bodzin is a true master of his craft, and "Stand" is a testament to his talent.

Moving on, I've got a track from Huntemann. This German producer is known for his dark and brooding techno with its pounding bassline and eerie synths, this track is sure to get you in the mood for some serious dancing.

Up next mixing a track from Hannes Bieger. This Berlin-based producer is known for his deep and atmospheric techno with its dreamy pads and pulsing bassline.

Moving on, I’ve chosen a track from the rising talent Tal Fussmann called "Back Up." This Israeli producer is known for his experimental approach to techno, and "Back Up" is a perfect example of his unique sound. With its glitchy beats and abstract melodies, this track is a trip through a sonic labyrinth.

Next up, I’ve selected tracks from Echonomist. This Greek producer is known for his melodic and emotive techno, and the tracks I have choosen are perfect examples of his style. With its lush pads and soaring melodies, he creates a journey through the highs and lows of the human experience.

Finally, I’ve mixed a track from Kollektiv Turmstrasse. This German DJs are known for their melodic and uplifting techno but to close the set I have chosen a more dreamy and relaxing remix of the track “Ordinary”.
