Meet Me By The Mustard Seed is the third track by Saul Behan-Dunne for 2020.  At the start of the year 2020, Saul Behan-Dunne set about recording and publishing one track a month for the year.  This is track 3.  An instrumental built upon a looping drum and bass line with layer upon layer of guitar parts added as the track progresses.  Filmed during the isolation period of the early part of the year.
At years end, all 12 tracks are to be compiled into the second Saul Behan-Dunne album titled Love & Broken Pieces which is the follow to The Termite Cathedral.

I worked for a lot of nights and a lot of kings
but now i work for the joker and all the senseless things
Life can be so unexpected upside down and untrue
but my fav colours are purple red and blue
dont believe in what you see and read behind the glass
reality is right in front of you if you only had to ask
blinded by distractions that i never read need
emotions running by me to make my poor heart bleed

lets call the doctors of the truth and tear the suckers off the roof
all the lunatics and anarchists and the ones your never miss

I worked a lot of lonely days good ways to clear my head 
i wasted all my purple haze and listened to the dead
used to be so easy when life was young and free
as a mind gets older you gotta have some fun
a culture based on satisfaction crawl out of this maze
not an easy climb for all the sheepeople
when all they do is take take take and rob the honest people

looking back to another place
where i would lie  and find my space
going home to re-collections
close the door and find the sections ..of my record collection

Missing

Saul Behan-Dunne is a songwriter from South East Gippsland in Victoria Australia with previous releases under the guise of The Sigh Company.

Debuting in 2011 with Songs in Silence, The Sigh Co. took us on a blissful sonic journey with an eclectic bunch of instrumental tracks, meditative and soothing, that continue to find new listeners. 

The follow up album ‘Dark’ was a moodier affair. Thematically, the album seems to be a statement about the Wests appetite for war, but to Saul Behan-Dunne, it is a cry out against the abuse of power in all human relations. A bug bear of his which provides much of the undercurrent on this his latest release The Termite Cathedral. 

Songs such as ‘Bali’ (the loss of a loved one via the Bali Bombings)
and ‘You Were the One’ (a song about partner violence) expose the searing pain caused by the human desire to dominate others. 

Sounds weighty, but the album is a joy to listen to, its an emotionally charged recording culminating in two love songs: the sultry ‘Summerlong’ and soulful ‘Run into your arms’ closing out the album.

Saul Behan-Dunne finds expression in his careful choice of words combined with an artful and meticulous layering of sound. The Termite Cathedral delivers songs that can surprise, with moments of simplicity and complexity combining seamlessly.
