Meet DER KÖNIG TANZT as lead by König Boris (main band: Fettes Brot) who this summer is digging out his disco punk roots with an EP’s worth of Neudisko remixes by Toomy Disco & Fernando (Buenos Aires) and the Drop Out Orchestra (Skane/Sweden). Plus a little extra Abfahrt from his old friends Deichkind. His 5-piece rave and roll band is on tour in october/november. Want to know more:

Fettes Brot ruht. König Boris schläft nicht. Der König tanzt, 24-7, mit Blitz im Gesicht, und wenn gerade kein Vulkan in der Nähe ist, auch gerne in der schönsten Neudisko von Welt. Ob sie nun in Buenos Aires steht oder in Skane/Schweden, wo Toomy Disco & Fernando respektive das Drop Out Orchestra sitzen und von dort gerade den Menschen den Bump zurückgeben. 

Zu des Königs Kumpels von Deichkind müssen wir nix mehr groß sagen. 2012 ist ihr Jahr. Von der Trinkhalle bis zum Feuilleton haben es endlich alle kapiert: ihre psychedelische Maxi Playback Dada Show wackelt das Boot, wie sonst keiner. Und den Königspalast gleich mit.
