Leon Haller is a DJ, Producer and Performing artist currently based in Brandenburg but mainly active in Munich, Germany. Over the years he has been part of several collectives and party series. Since 2017 he was a Resident DJ at the recently closed Harry Klein Club, a Munich Techno institution, where he also created the PERRAS parties together with Louis EMP, MRTI and Manuel Loewe. Both as a DJ and party host he draws on a wide range of genres and moods, always with a focus on disinhibition and escapism. With his background in theater and a degree in dramatic arts he does have a keen ear for different textures in dance music and a sharp eye for the energy on the dance floor. In addition to his residency at Harry Klein, he also played in venues such as Rote Sonne (Munich), Disco Zwei (Mannheim) and Zur Klappe (Berlin). For this mix he went back to his roots which lie in deep, pulsing, sometimes wistful and haunting Techno, with subtle House-ish accents appearing sometimes. He included some tracks he has been listening to and playing for quite some time, paired with fresh releases, sparkling percussions and hypnotic dance floor bombs. Grafik started fulfilling his DJ dream less than three years ago, during a time of restriction when he was given several opportunities by friends to play at secret parties. Since then, his passion for techno music has only deepened. His sets combine hypnotic, repetitive rhythmic elements with atmospheric deep drones. For him, techno is a way of telling a story, and he tried to carry that into this set.

MTRL (Material) is an art project by Audio Engineer and Sound designer Lukas Weinlein, who has always been fascinated with soundscapes to which he could relate to emotionally.

Playing various instruments for years, he started experimenting with different sounds at a young age, tapping into many different styles of music.
This insightful journey shaped his current understanding of music and ultimately led him to the endless possibilities of hypnotic electronic music, inspired by the infinite cosmos and organic voices of nature. Having bonded with a multitude of great artists helped to refine his style and created a sphere of inspiration around him. His deep, experimental - and sometimes dark sounds- resonate with the audience and invites them on a trip to remember.

The name for this specific art project was chosen because the definition of the word material, the matter from which a thing is or can be made, fits the purpose of the project very good. So the aim of MTRL is to create an audiovisual experience from existing or non-existing matter for open-minded brains.

Our next guest After 15 years as a DJ and producer, we can safely say that DOC has traveled through most styles and genres. From hard techno free parties in Barcelona in the ‘10s to disco events in London in the ‘20s, DOC has developed a broad music taste and vinyl collection during his artistic journey.

Some years ago, he landed on a musical planet inhabited by all things deep. DOC has a genre-agnostic approach to his music selection. If it is psychedelic, ritualistic, and hypnotic, it fits. He picks from ambient, techno, breaks, house, dnb, dub, and downtempo to create a trip of his own, aiming at providing both a body and mind experience.

In his monthly podcast, Selene Series, DOC explores the different shapes that mental and psychedelic electronic music can take. Selene Series is a podcast that has been running for 3 years and is released each full moon.
