Auto-referential musical artifacts blend into composite shapes, and ultimately manifests into five exercises in style, trespassing traditional boundaries of genre, tempo, and (good) taste. While this record probably expresses an inner conflict at the intersection of hypermodernity and conservatism, I hope it accomplishes, at least, its primitive function—to put the body in motion."

"Hodo is an exercise in restraint. It is centred around one riff we recorded from Amon’s modular synth, and a really big kickdrum. We tried to use as little further ornamentation as we could, to focus all attention on the core elements. A modular riff, a very dirty kickdrum, some Latin-inspired triplet percussion, and some chords to set the mood in the intro. The title comes from “Jodorowsky’s Dune”, an incredibly inspiring documentary every artist should watch once or more."- Thys
